I really like the new Mizuno NT designs, however cost and scarcity is a bit of a turn off. OT: Do you guys happen to know where I can score Diadora stuff within the metro (aside from the one located in Festival Mall). royal sporting house sells Diadora sneakers, I got 2 pairs from a promo back last december for only 1800 bucks. I'm not sure if Royal Sporting house are selling football stuff from Diadora.

Yeah, Botak would've been fine before. I would've go e to their main office and bought a replica kit. But nowadays there's such a huge demand for them that not even a larger brand like Mizuno can supply it. Diadora did supply the practice shirts for the Azkals back during the Suzuki Cup in 2010. And yes, Asics has supplied the team before, as did Adidas. Puma's kits are a bit form-fitting, aren't they? I'd still buy a shirt but I don't think I could wear it! Haha. Still, it's a step up from Mizuno and the brand has better distribution.

i hope we get to see new kits for the azkals soon. my guess is against malaysia or the afc challenge cup, we will be sporting non-mizuno kits. i hope they're not ugly like the one on the wiki page.

if puma is indeed now the chosen one, the question that arises will be is: can the local franchise holders adequately supply the sure-to-be awesome demand for those kits in the country w/o sacrificing quality?
i just hope that the local puma people (or whomever it will be) will learn from the mizuno debacle considering the japanese premium apparel maker isn't exactly a shrimp in worldwide sporting presence

I think insofar as to the experience in supplying national team kits is concerned, I think Puma is way ahead than Mizuno considering that Puma has supplied for lots national team kits worldwide and it was only our country who Mizuno sponsored. And I think it's a big step for Puma Philippines since its a long term contract accdg to Wiki which is from 2012 until 2016. I think they really have plans to expand and making it big here in our country, hence, they wanted to become the official outfitter of the national team.

One thing I'm excited for from Puma, if they are indeed the next supplier, are decent jackets. I love their merch for the Ferrari F1 team. And maybe some flag-inspired kicks?

Whatever the case, I hope the design would use Philippine elements smartly. Subtle even.
Not the typical crap like slapping the flag design on a jacket, a shirt, etc. Heck, is wearing the flag as a piece of clothing even allowed? I want a smart and professional looking team, is all.

Well, PUMA is certainly a good brand with great football background. They do know how to up the ante when it comes to kits (Cameroon's one piece kits) but their templates are too close to each other if you ask me. My biggest hope if is indeed them is that their local marketing is up to the task. To give everyone an idea on possible PUMA templates check out these other PUMA outfitted national squads www.puma.com/football/teamsHere's hoping we'll be strutting our new kits on the 29th!

I never took notice of the NT's kits before until you guys started talking about it. I just noticed Neil Etheridge's kit against the Aus U23. It looked like a plain white T shirt with decals, check photos, it looked awful! Are our kits designed by Mizuno or we design it and have them make it? The red kits were nice though.

We're no longer using Mizuno kits in Dubai also during the game against Incheon and CF madrid... The Mizuno contract already expired during those games... And after all the hype about Puma being the new outfitter for the Azkals starting 2012-2016, the reference from Wiki was deleted... LOL
