What's this? Another tabloid-media extravaganza? Caz, you said you predicted that once the issue would resurface there will be a twist in words with carefully written non-lies. Well, here it is.
Should this reports be seriously true, I would want to wait for AFC's decision. It's been taking too long already since that incident happened in February. But if any lengthy suspension or ban may ensue either Moy or Guirado, then this will be a development we shouldn't miss.

Is Lexton Moy now out of the Kaya FC??? I heard he was heading to Hongkong to try his luck again.. Its in the UFL thread. Yup, he's supposedly going to try his luck again with the HKFA as announced in the last UFL 2011/12 game. He's out of Kaya and seems to be out of the Azkals(via his twitter) for now. Considering the rise of the Philippine NT he might receive some serious look in HK.

I was told by HK fans though that Lexton's problem is not his skill level compared to the local players. but that he is considered an American citizen and occupies a foreign allocation which is limited per team. Therefore he has to compete against other foreigners including those from Brazil, other Latin American countries, Europe and Africa. He is not guaranteed to be employed in HK this season. Let us see what happens first. It is possible a team with a lower budget might take him.

what's the reason why he left Kaya FC? was there any conflicts with the players or staff or it was really his decision to go and look for another club in HK? because of this, i think he already gave up his position in our NT

what's the reason why he left Kaya FC? was there any conflicts with the players or staff or it was really his decision to go and look for another club in HK? because of this, i think he already gave up his position in our NT From reading Moy's blog and twitter it seems he just has "traveling fever" he just isn't at the same place for long periods of time. As for his relations with team and management, he has plans to meet the del Rosario brothers in the US time permitting and is also friendly with team owner Santi Araneta. Other Azkal players also regularly tweet him. Too bad, he was a good back up player for the NT but it also opens up playing time for new guys like Marvin Angeles, Reichelt, Porteria etc...

Could this harassment case be the cause of Lexton's decision of moving to HKG? I just fear that once the verdict of the AFC comes out, and the sanctions be heavy, I believe it will greatly affect him and his relations to the NT.

It is kind of sad that the 2 players implicated in this scandal despite proclaiming their innocence, have now decided to leave the Philippines for greener pastures in other professional leagues. It looks like Cristina Ramos finally got his revenge, to the detriment of the UFL and possibly the national team. Angel lost marketing opportunities because of this scandal which if he still had, probably would have convinced him to stay.

Hate to say that this might be the case. If it is, like everything "political", maybe it's a temporary arrangement and they return in one or two seasons when the "public"(read: haters) don't care anymore? Unless of course both players have/get lucrative contracts.

Rumours are circulating that the PFF and the AFC have come up with a resolution, that is to to ban Lexton Moy and Ángel Guirado from playing club football in the Phils. for a certain period, that's why they have left for other leagues elsewhere. An official statement from the federation is definitely needed about this. We don't want anything detrimental to happen in here.

Official Statement from the Azkals Team Manager2012-08-31 20:00:00 The PFF Disciplinary Committee has released the verdict in the Ms Cristy Ramos “sexual harassment” case. We would like to thank the Disciplinary committee for their hard work in arriving at the verdict, we respect the verdict but at the same time we must respect the due process that goes with investigations of this kind including the appeals process available to all parties. The Disciplinary Committee has found no evidence of sexual harassment and we thank them for that. It is to the relief of the team and the management that such a serious charge has been found to be without foundation but this is no surprise to us. However, other parties not involved with the case were handed suspensions. With full respect to the Disciplinary Committee we will be appealing the decision. Meanwhile we will continue to focus on the goal of making the country proud thru the game of football. Please can we request everyone to be respectful in their communications about this and to allow the process to continue until its full conclusion. Thank you. azkalsfootballteam.com/news.php?id=229
