www.sportstvjobs.com/resources/infographic-live-sports-camera-positions.htmlThis page discusses and illustrates the main positions of the cameras in different live sports including football/soccer. In the crew stadium there are at least 8 cameras, with the main camera a midfield high camera. There is another midfield camera for tight shots. This is a really interested page. I suggest all of us read it (personally for the best angles for your own still images) and hopefully TV5 and abs-cbn read this too to improve on the coverage of the UFL. I get frustrated alot by the low camera angle we have presently. I wish they could build a camera tower or something to get a higher angle. Below is the sketch of the crew stadium in Ohio and the camera positions they use for MLS matches.

I would like to thank you, sir, for starting this particular thread. I hope our local football games broadcasters take the hint also. I ( ..and I believe most football fans), personally am not interested in these low camera angles we use right now. We miss a lot because we have to see more players on the pitch during play. Football we know, is not a one or two man game... For me I would love to see more shots showing both ends of the pitch at once.

Highlights are also important. All the games I've seen, they only show the goal. They don't show the buildup, let alone the first touch....

With this setup, you can get all the highlights that you want and more. Maybe you'll even get some reactions of the fans and the bench without missing anything because the feed could be switched instantly back to the action. I would love for them to build a camera tower at UMAK and Rizal. That would really improve the quality of the broadcast. These towers should be higher than what the positions of the cameras we have now.
