... andaming nag try out lastime pero sinu parin yung ginamit nyang striker in the game against Mongolia? Well, lets just say some little politics are involved when those dinosaurs in the team are still in that line-up... same for Ian Araneta...

Well, lets just say some little politics are involved when those dinosaurs in the team are still in that line-up... same for Ian Araneta... mag bigay ka ng name ng mga striker? sa tingin ko kung si Guerridon yung iniisip mo? siguro wala pa siyang Passport, kung si Chad Gould? hindi siya umatend ng Try out, kung meron man na eligible to play na sa tingin ko pwede pumasok eh si Izzhoe Elhebbib, kaso walang possibilities pa dun as of now.. baka dude may ka kilala kapa pwede mong i share? or baka isa ka sa mga striker na nag try out pero hindi nakapasok sa Cut...

They give more chance to their Ilonggo speaking "sanos" than other players who speak a different dialect. don't believe me? well you can ask those who follow the Philippine National Team way before the Fil-Fors phenomenon. They can tell you how hard it is to get a cut in the national team if you have no "kapit" from the PFF You can even ask Etheridge about this selection process. Muntik na siyang di nagiging AzKal dahil sa attitude na iyan.

We need a better striker. Araneta works hard, is industrious, etc. but his main job is to score goals. We are now a seeded team for the next Suzuki Cup and we are also playing in more tournaments. We need someone who can score against the big boys in the region, not just the weaker teams. If he continuously fails to put away his chances it would probably affect team morale and prove frustrating for his teammates who are working hard to defend and to get the ball to him. I think anyone here who has played football has experienced this frustration.

Muntik na siyang di nagiging AzKal dahil sa attitude na iyan. yup during the AFC Challenge Cup Qualifiers in Iloilo si Fegidero ang coach. 2 months before the qualifiers Fegidero released a statement that said only those who were able to attend try outs will be selected. There were a couple of shoo-in like Phil Younghusband thanks to his 7 goals in the AFF Qualifiers. James Younghusband was nearly cut, Neil Etheridge made etsepwera but changed his mind when he learned that he is 6'3 pala! And Chris Greatwich wasnt included in the line up as well. Mari Martinez and some in the PFF were horrified! Ayaw nila pahiyain si Fegidero so they did not remove him as coach, but put in Juan Cutillas to call the shots. Sya ang totoong coach noon. Rearranged the 23 man line up before the deadline to include more foreign based Pinoys like Chris Greatwich, Phil Greatwich, James Younghusband, Chad Gould and shempre Neil Etheridge. But still to make Fegidero happy they included his pet Bedic, a 16yr old na mabilis daw pero nasaan na sya ngayon? The Philippines did not advance because we did not have a good enough goal difference but thats ok we did not concede a goal and not lost a match. Pero imagine nyo yan, hindi isasali si James Younghusband? Chris Greatwich? Sino ipapalit? Half of the players daw kukunin ni Fegidero sa University na kino-coach nya at the time! Pare-pare, bata-bata system. After ng tournament nag resign si Fegidero. Well good riddance! LAYAS! WAG KANG LALAPIT SA NATIONAL TEAM!

^^^
Gusto talaga nilang itapon sa kangkongan si Fegidero ;D
But the "pare-pare" system kicks-in once again. Malakas ang kapit ni Fegidero sa PFF noon. Kaya the Cutillas solution is the most palatable alternative at that time. Its a blessing that Fegidero still has a little bit of shame left in him.

bedic was called to try for a spot in MNT last year, but did not go to manila for the try out. ....dont know why, IMO he could've easily made the team.

during the AFF qualifying stage in Laos i think he is one of our top goal scorer (correct me if i'm wrong). one thing i noticed on their games, he was using a Mizuno boots. but during the AFF Suzuki cup proper, he wears a Nike and he was busted either by the goalkeeper or by the posts. Same thing happened in their Mongolia match. i'm not sure if there's something with the boots. just my 2 cents uu nga...naka wave ghost ata yun..kala ko kasi naka asics lethal siya.. pero when he started using mercurials, agree ako dun sa iyo...but he scored a penalty nung UFL Cup Final..pero pag international na..naku... kailangan na nyang maka-score or else..
