Global 5-3 Guam Carli played some gk at the second half and played "excellent" from an AKTV report. Carli also scored a goal! Beat that coach Weiss! Just kidding, at least the NT were able to blank Guam.

The game was awesome!
I watched the game but I arrived late in the first half, with Guam up 2-0. As soon as I sat down, a Global player scored (not sure if Reichelt, I didn't see clearly). It's 2-1 at the half.
Then Guam scored a point blank goal early in the second half. Then a goal by Global because of the Guam keeper's carelessness (the ball was within his reach but it just went SLOWLY past thru him). Then Carli's goal to tie it. Then Izo El-Habbib's superb shot from outside the box made it 4-3. Finally, Global scored a close range effort at added time.
Global was clearly experimenting with the players, with Izo and Azkals Carli and Angel coming in as substitutes. And yes, Carli played goalie when Angel subbed in for the keeper. Had at least three saves from close range efforts. Clean sheet during Carli's stint. So far, Carli has yet to concede a goal while playing GK. Weiss might want to consider Carli over Sacapano hahaha.
Some side notes: - Denis Wolf was there to watch the game. - Some fans (with drums) were actually cheering against Global. Nope, they're not Guamanians, they're Pinoys. And they're not there to cheer for Guam, but to really cheer against the UFL club. So much effort for trolling ha, yung Global fans mismo walang ngang drums eh. - Who's that number 23 for Global? He's got nice dribbling skills and was able to get away from multiple defenders.

Read that first Global goal was Reichelt. So it was 2 Azkals out of 5 goals for Global, though Pat hasn't capped yet.

De Murga will always score a goal whenever Romero is playing on the opposing side ;D
Gier is listed # 23 for Global, pretty obvious it's not him. maybe Christiaens? he was in the line-up for Global against Guam

You must have liked that move he pulled late that eventually led to izzo's goal, no?

He came in as a substitute later. I think it was Guisso.

So much effort for trolling ha, yung Global fans mismo walang ngang drums eh.. Really?! Well that's Kaya Ultras cheering for Jonah Romero. Pathetic to see young kids cheering against a club representing our country but I guess rivalries are starting to grow bet UFL clubs. Do they even support our NT? I guess they also have the Anton delRo mind set of club before country

leoisiah the Goal of Global Last Night came from Patrick Richelt. A Scintillating Performance for Carlie, playing as a Midfielder and as a Goalie. He Had some Brilliant saves, and some moves for a GK (they can use him as a GK soon). He is my Man of the Match. I also Saw Paul Mulders on the Global Bench for a while. As for the Drums, i think it was one of the Drummers of Kaya cheering for Guam (mostly for Jonah Romero). I was seating near to them and I heard one time or two that they're bullying a player from Global Everytime he touches the ball (not mentioning his name). I dunno if that was a Joke or something.

It's good to know Carli can mind the nets, just in case. That actually came in handy in the Challenge Cup where he made a pretty good save if I recall correctly. I remember reading an article on Real Madrid one time that should an injury happen to their goalkeeper (or gets sent off) and all subs have been used up already, Mourinho has designated Sergio Ramos to play as the keeper. There was also one match I think in the Premiere League where a Manchester United defender had to play goalie, just don't remember who it was. Just shows these things can happen and it's good to know we have a decent option in case it does.

remember John Terry played as a goalie when Petr Cech gets a head injury and replaced by Carlo Cudicini who himself was knocked unconscious later in the same game
and in the recent EPL, when Pepe Reina was sent-off due to red card against New Castle, defender Jose Enrique ended up going in goal for the remaining minutes

fyi, that 2 great saved from Carli was from a 1 on 1 situation, he has this great positioning and anticipation. watched the game last night sitting besides the coach of Homeless world cup ata yun, basta yung predator liked-hair and his former player, chatting that if that weren't Carli standing infront of the goal, it should have been a 5 goals for Matao.
i love the 1-2 passes of them, leads to a beautiful goal. Carli playing DM, Misagh AM, and Christiaens LW. They have this chemistry, when and where to pass. Is this their normal position when playing league games? Christiaens dribbling skills, I heard coach besides me na napa "wow!" when he beat 3 defender. 2 attempt from him last night but those did not challenge the keeper of Matao. He deserve a goal.
Pwede ko ba sabihin dito yung chant ng ultras kaya against misagh? hehe napapangiti ako pag naririnig ko yun, everytime hawak niya bola ganun maririnig mo lol.
But that 3 goals from Matao were quality. Quality counter attacking. They've even set the defender and midfielder on fire blaming each other on that goal 3. again from coach "sisihin mo yung kakampi mo e ikaw yung defender" lol
