My friend told me via FB that Javier is already processing his papers so that he could join the Azkals in the Suzuki Cup 2012.... wow... if its going to happen then Dennis Wolf would be relegated as the 3 rd striker and that makes Araneta might be out of spot in the Azkals line-up...

Now, that is the BIG Question...if CF Cordoba will release him...but i think it is possible since they have new signings and they still have good scorers like Airam and Borja.

i don't think that Cordoba will release him in the middle of the season. but maybe there's a slim chance, having him in the suzuki cup would really boost our offense. i hope that he would play in our upcoming friendlies under the Fifa calendar

ow Ok, so PFF and Javier Patino is already in contact? Thats a good start. I hope he gets his paper done soon in time for Suzuki CUP. After that lets hope he gets a go signal from his club.
One good thing about releasing your players to the National Team, Its ads value to your player no matter what country he plays for. Some clubs cash on this.

Some highlights from his team Cordoba. He's very good at positioning, is calm with the ball and clinical finishing. www.footytube.com/v/MTE1NzU0and here's an interview: (Spanish)

He wears jersey number 9, which in all likelihood means he's a regular starter. However, it would really be great if Cordoba CF releases him for the Suzuki Cup.

I will now include his games in Filipino Footballers Abroad in Azkal Prospects Category. Watch for his games results on that thread Let's wait for future news about our team if they will now mention him. Since in news articles, a new player was started by mentioning a name. Like Wolf before Hope his papers are done before the PHI's big games

An article about him. Shared by Rufo 9 on Twitter www.facebook.com/pages/RUFO-9/207466966014889 Translated using Google TranslatePatiño podría ser internacional por... FilipinasThe relation between the Spanish soccer and the Filipino is narrower and narrower. In addition to Rufo and Joaco, which they have just recorded for the Stallions of that country, another player of the soccer of Madrid can reclar there, but to play with its selection. It is a question of Javier Patiño, current player of the Cordova and ex-of the Sanse, between others, which one finds in steps to obtain the nationality, since its mother is a Filipino. The contacts began across(through) Ángel Guirado, another Spanish of birth with Philippine ancestry and that now is the big star of the 'Azkals', and they might come to good term(end) in a few dates. Of course, its internationality will always happen(pass) because the international commitments. The player is been delighted by the possibility that it has been opened to him to give one more jump in its career and, especially, therefore he(she) supposes for its family circle. In diverse Philippine forums also they show the enthusiasm for being able to be provided(rely on) in the 'Azkals' with a player of the level of the forward. I skate, of 24 years, it fulfills its second period in the Cordova, with that it scored 8 goals in 35 parties in Second, after having been key in the ascent of the Sanse to Second B. www.elgoldemadriz.com/portal/masfutbol/temporada-2012-2013/015-patino-podria-ser-internacional-por-filipinas.html

thanks CFIM for featuring him
Javier Patiño, Aka "Patigol", the great new hope for the AZKALS. An excellent center forward who currently plays for Cordoba CF in Spain´s 2 Division. CFIM remembers him well when he played for San Sebastian de los Reyes against us in the 2010/2011 season, and was the top goalscorer for the season. Due to his outstanding play and goalscoring ability he was signed by Cordoba CF, who just missed out on promotion to the La Liga, Spain´s 1st Division. CFIM believe he will be a big boost to the Azkals hopes for official FIFA tournaments, and along with Stephan Schrock will add international class to the squad. Good Luck to you all in the Suzuki Cup and we miss you... www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=465379203493542&set=a.170535112977954.36758.169625566402242&type=1&ref=nf

See the bald guy with a sling bag in the far left of your screen?(and i'm the one in the center)...That's my friend Narlou Lachica, Javier Patiño y Lachica's cousin... notice their similarities?hehehe! My friend told me that Javier really wanted to play for us in the Suzuki Cup 2012 that's why he is fast tracking all the necessary paper works. And he hopes to join the team early so that he could practice with the Azkals...The reason why some Azkals officials are not releasing the name of Javier to the public because they are still in talks with Cordoba CF...

dondi0911, why did you even share that photo with yourself to us?! Hahaha, just kidding! ;D
If just in case he won't be able to make the AFF Suzuki Cup, he'd better join the team in the AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers on March 2013, and even play in the friendlies before that. That's an even bigger tournament, and a good one at that.
Well, let's keep fingers crossed. Can't wait for him to don the Philippine colours.
