After watching the clip of Jesus Navas' goal of Spain vs Croatia last night in the Euro, i was a bit bothered, confused and doubtful about the NO CALL! Yeah there are still a lot of hidden gems to dig, and so i ended up creating this thread to expand more our knowledge about the rules. Unique situation like the video below does not come more often so i think it's worth sharing. ;D
Stopping the video at 0:03 shows Iniesta is Onside. Navas is shown to be Offside but forget him coz he's not involved with the play, so no whistle should be called. At 0:05 Iniesta receives the ball, this time Iniesta is an inch ahead of Navas. At 0:06 Iniesta passes, Navas is still behind the ball and both in front of 1 defender, the GK.
OFFSIDE RULE STATES: It is not an offside when you pass the ball backward, as long as your in an active onside play, regardless the defenders present or not.
Therefore: THE NO CALL IS GOOD!
Hey i encourage everyone to post unique videos of this rule as well or any other rule of football. Kind o' stuff we all need to learn. ;D

This is a great educational video i found on youtube. Football offside / Law 11 completely explained
The play at 6:20 of the video supports the valid Goal of Jesus Navas of Spain vs Croatia.

Here's another unusual offside situation. The red number 9 isn't beyond the blue 4 defender but is offside because the goal keeper isn't back. This is one of those rare occasions where goal keeper is out of the goal (e.g. last minute of F.A. Cup final on a corner kick) and can't get back in time but if the attacking team play the ball as they normally would, then it would be offside because the offside rule requires two defenders to be in front the attacker and the goal keeper usually counts as a defender.www.offside-ref.co.uk/laws/11-offside-rule/detailed/

Offside or Not?
Euro 2012 Match between Ukraine and England. Video of the disallowed goal attempted by Ukraine with Jhon Terry's controversial save. (based on this video's angle it should have been a goal i think ;D)
Stopping the video at time 0:18, shows Offside. In my opinion it's offside with this given condition.
"the player must not be on the opposing team's half of the field"
1st and 2nd attacker were being played and were clearly beyond their own half of the field.

A good lot of videos to show uncommon situations. A thread I may be coming back to in the future.
