^ if im not mistaken Carli is deadly on Penalty kicks. he is the reliable Penalty kick taker of GLOBAL FC. missing one penalty doesn't mean your not good. even Drogba missed that crucial penalty against zambia in the finals of African cup of nation

Those Communist Sakangs should not be allowed back into the Challenge Cup. They've already won it twice and had qualified for the last World Cup finals. Free up another slot for other emerging and developing countries naman!

Well, now that North Korea won the Championship, they might even decide not to join the next edition and just concentrate in the Asia Cup qualifiers, which is good for us. Even if they do decide to join, they will not bring their full squad since they already qualified for the Asian Cup already.
The 2014 Challenge Cup will be wide open in my opinion and with 2 more years of experience and hopefully the home advantage, we should have a good chance of winning it all at that time. Hopefully we can get a better coach at that time though, who knows how to teach a team a proper offside trap as well as improve our possession game.
In my opinion, our attack has been the class of this tournament, but our defence has been a little suspect. Not to take away what Coach Weiss has done in this competition and our best ever finish in the Challenge Cup finals, but with the better players at his disposal, I still think our team has not been able to reach its full potential and has largely underachieved under his guidance. Nevertheless, having said that, he probably deserves to finish his contract after this result until at least the end of the year.
Finally I would like to congratulate Phil Younghusband for winning the Golden Boot award for scoring the most goals in this tournament. I can honestly say that he truly deserved this honor since I have never seen him play so well in his career and he was by a large margin the class of the tournament on offence. It is nice to see what regular competition in the UFL can do for his form and I am looking forward to seeing him doing more of the same in the future, with even better players surrounding him.
