Caligdong and Araneta are just the same. Only good for low level teams. Let us see in the game against Singapore. If anything below Kuwait is low level for you, then no one in the team is good enough, with the exception of Schrock ;D You have to consider that we would have actually lost to these low-level teams if not for Caligdong's heroics. Someone who eats up inferior opposition? I don't mind that on my team.

So far, after the 3 fixtures in the Long Teng Cup, we got 43-43-129 match points.
I just hope a good result in the Singapore and Nepal friendlies will significantly improve our rankings. But some of our neighbours play the 3rd round of World Cup Qualifiers (including Singapore) so they have higher Importance factor of 2.5 than Friendlies of 1.0, which means they could earn more points than us.

But if they lose those fixtures they'd end up with 0 and we'll zoom past them in the standings.
Full time HK 6- 0 Taiwan.

Didn't get to watch the game live. Anybody knows the schedule for the replay and if a livestream is available?

27 shots on goal. 10 were on target. just 2 goals.
Really need to focus on finishing.
Congrats to chieffy on winning the Golden Boot.

If anything below Kuwait is low level for you, then no one in the team is good enough, with the exception of Schrock ;D I consider any country below Malaysia low level speaking of country level, Mongolia is of a higher level than us Since January this year, we are only going down in the rankings That is why I am not satisfied with the performance of the current team. With more than 100% increase in the quality of the players skillwise, is this all we can get? 2 draws and an unconvincing win? I'll take Mongolia's coach if that's what it takes for us to jump 20 ranking levels than us sliding 15 levels since our current coach started handling the team.

I like vimjonk's thinking ... NEVER BE SATISFIED ... bro, for every little achievement the Azkals get, you will always find something negative ... keep going. well, it seems i don't have the usual Filipino trait of being satisfied by mediocrity, the "pwede na" attitude

Okay, let's take a look: MGL, expected- 2 wins actual- 1 win 1 loss MYA, expected- win actual- draw (it can be argued that a draw was expected here) PAL- expected- draw actual-draw BGL- expected- win actual- win KUW, expected- 2 losses actual- 2 losses HKG- expected- draw actual- draw (outside PHL circles it was actually a shock draw) TPE- expected- win actual- draw (we were really poor here, ugh) MAC- expected- win actual-win (but we should have scored more)
I have the opinion that the talent from 2011's LTC was not significantly better than 2010. Feel free to disagree, if you consider the talent at GK and Guirado and Carli... but we also missed Gier.
Yes, we should have scored more against Macau. No argument there.
