Looking forward for the teams arrival here in Kuwait and excited to watch them play. I'll bring the whole family to see the Philippine team play live in a World Cup event (qualifiers) a rare event that we'll soon see a regular fixture in our team's calendar schedule every four years. Nakakaingit nga kayo dyan na nakapanood nang live and in our turf at that kaya mas masaya. I'm sure its gaining momentum with our fellow kababayans here as well in going to the game, though we may be outnumbered and the underdogs(no pun intended) pero ok lang we'll cheer to our hearts content.

It won't matter with Schrock, I guess, so he can concentrate on his club for a few more days. I hope he'll return for the home game. Things are getting complicated for our battle against Kuwait. Our slim chances just got a little bit slimmer. Exciting, isn't it?!

I think we have just a right up reserves for Aly and Shrocky.
Cagara or Jonsson or Lucena can play FB spots which puts Mulders with JY, Chieffy and probably Ott in the mid.
Still, there are lots of possibilities.
Making the right decision's the hardest though. Weiss should create options.

With their absence left us a huge hole in our defense. I wish Cagara could play.

Just like I said in the past, we don't have the numbers to support or DC spots. Once one or two of them gets suspended, we don't have the quality to back them up.
Coach Weiss' headache: Who would fill the DC spot?

^I suppose it would either be Lucena, or Sabio. I'm hoping it would be Lucena. If Jonsson's available, Mulders will be paired with Ott in central midfield.
My guess would be a deep 4231.
---------Etheridge----------------
Anton---Gier----Lucena---Jonsson
---------Ott------Mulders-----------
James-------Angel----------Caligdong
-------------Phil----------------------

I agree. A deep 4-2-3-1. Lucena has played DC before, right? I know I read somewhere that he has. Just couldn't remember where I read it. If Cagara can play, will he be able to play the DC spot?

I don't think it is a good idea putting lucena in that DC position... Ott would be better as DC coz as you guys say that kuwait has very good and fast striker... and I think ott is alot faster than lucena... I say let Ott be DC and Lucena stays at DM with mulders... Del Rosario well have a hard time against fast kuwaiti strikers... Park the bus...

Yup, park it and counter! Pedal to the metal for our offensive players.

I say Lucena as DC and Ott as DM. As a DM you'll have a lot of grounds to cover and the potential of Kuwait mounting a strong offense against us will put us in a defensive mode. Ott fielding the DM spot would be perfect. With his speed, he'll be able to field his area and cover the box when necessary. My two cents.
