tan orgulloso de mi primo! He wanted nothing but to play and give his best for the Philippines. I hope haters will now shut up. hehehe Go Azkals! They need all the support they need. Kutintin Congratulations on your cousins Angel's achievement. Please send our thanks and best wishes to him for deciding to play for the Azkals. Please ask him to have his brother Juan Luis tryout as well for the team. I admire the way the Spanish play and it would be great to see both of them exhibit that style on the Azkals. Felicidades. Thank you. We'll talk about Juan Luis when he gets back on Sunday. We really appreciate all the support.

It must be acknowledged though that he pretty much has been playing fantastic throughout all 3 matches. Please do send him our heartfelt gratitude. Of course, everyone else in the team - players to coaching staff and everyone in between - deserve a resounding round of applause as well. You guys are my sports heroes. Azkals forever! Philippine football is on the up and up. Woot! Woot! Fingers crossed, the powers that be will get a move on building a world class stadium worthy of the Azkals. And while they're at it, they might as well start organizing a super league that would be represented by Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Or we could share the no. 1 spot, it can get lonely at the top when you're alone.

Tanong lang po... WC qualifier is in June right how many teams will qualify for the WC in this qualifier? sasali pa rin ba yung top 2 sa AFC(Japan and Australia)?
what about AFC Challenge cup? will the winner qualify for the WC or AFC Championships on 2015?..

yup! all teams have to go through the qualifier. AFC is allotted 4.5 slots. the 0.5 slot is shared with Oceania (New Zealand vs. Bahrain yung playoff last year for the shared slot). I'm not sure kung same sa old tournaments na qualified sa AFC championships yung AFC challenge cup champion.

The AFC Asian cup winner will earn the right to compete in the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil... Now i understand why SK qualifies for WC always while there having trouble winning an AFC Asian cup title... I've rather qualify for WC than Confederations Cup... ;D ;D ;D

One step at a time. Maybe the AFC Asian Cup is more realistic than the WC. But who knows, hard to second guess.. LOL
