Well, that was disappointing. You know it's a bad night when we have to turn to Araneta to try and salvage the game.

Our boys are really demoralized, Could be a trait that makes them Filipino. Huh? Maybe if you are foreigner you wouldn't understand. Here in the Philippines you would occasionally hear people say "Wala na yan" "Ayoko na maglaro" "Talo naman tayo ayoko na" yes it is Crab Mentality. And its Common in my Point of view. And being crab easily means you are easily demoralized. If you ask me and to be Frank. I am not Crab as have a said a couple of times earlier, I may sound like but if I was a crab then why I am still here in Usapangfootball? Its Pointless to say something to Filipino Football if you believe we always lose.

So the Laotian government initially doesn't want to air this game on TV because they're planning to get this match FIXED? ;D

You can't expect them to beat everyone. They're not exactly dominating ASEAN teams. And rankings is not the "be-all and end-all" here.
We need more option on strikers. The coaches and experienced players have to settle down the young ones who get carried away with emotions. We can't stoop so low that we just make it a brawl. It's embarrassing.

well for araneta, he is too lazy there are 2 through ball to him but he didn't run to the ball. and he let it go outside the pitch. fatigue is one reason why we lose but the coaching staff must realized it..used substitution every game to full extent. they travel 3 countries in a span of 1 week.
overall i see some positives on this game at lb,christieans did a tremendous job so as at rb carli schrock was awesome so as mulders.. reichelt needs some more experience to be effective in right wing.. sabio and gier both are steady at cb but SLOW

IMHO when i saw today is a bit luto macau.nakita natin un extra time dapat more than 5 minutes un kaso ginawa lng 3.lao's played hard and physical so bumawi lng ang nang yari is uminit ang mnga ulo at nagaway away.but i guess our team needs a better striker patrick R is ok hilaw pa antayin natin tong batang toh huminog nang konti marunong dumiskarte at mabilis sa bola kulang nlng accuracy.o well bad day bad game bad choices kaso leason learn na sana toh na wag magpadala sa init nang ulo.

but on the good side, This is a REAL wake up call. and for the Crabs think twice before insulting the Younghusbands. I'm paying them if they have proven that the YH bros played. (Crabs don't do HW)

I also thought in this game our wing back Carli and Christaens were just a bit to eager to join the offensive side of play the 1st penalty if I recalled it right Darren said if Carli had not come up high enough he would have been to cover and not let Rob Gier do a 50-50 tackle which the Ref wrongfully said it was a penalty...

And I have to disagree that having that "ayoko na" attitude is a Filipino trait. That's anywhere. That's why great players are called "great players" because they don't give up. No matter where they are from. I don't think that was even the issue here. Philippines just got outplayed - plain and simple. A lot of the players also lost their composure.

this game was unbelievable. Of all the commotion that had happened only 3 mins were added on the extra time. Bob G. said it himself that it was outrageous. which I agree, I was expecting around 10.

Its Pointless to say something to Filipino Football if you believe we always lose. A lot of the players also lost their composure. Well that's the effect. In the least few minutes if you've seen the game clearly, no one was at the midfield like there weren't pushing forward, we also saw this in the first leg against Kuwait, were 3 nil down and the attacks were poor. The was a situation there as I can remember chieffy taught the Kuwait defence had the ball but actually our wingers had it but he didn't bother to look back. and if your in the first leg were your opponent host, you should be eager because even if you lose scoring an away goal could make a difference which they were too demoralized to think of it. But yeah maybe your right this may not be the issue so I'm not pushing it further than this. BUT I have to say we weren't simply outplayed, we also had our chance but we just didn't convert most especially the first half. and there are more factor that gave us the lost. the referee is also to blame to some who watch, the laotians were dirty aswell.

(Crabs don't do HW) It's really a wake call to look for a couple of quality forwards. The Azkals just can't afford to make their LB and RB be that up to high on the field. Those two penalties was the result of late cover from our LB.
