Maybe he will be our equivalent of Alexander Duric who is also from Bosnia, from Singapore who eventually decided to plant permanent roots in the country he played in. Hope he makes an impact in the league.

^^ That was probably an editorial glitch during publishing of the Philippine Star issue. The feature editor should have noticed Dakic is a UFL football player, but not an Azkals player.

This isn't the 1st time I encountered Dakic being labelled an Azkal on an infomercial or Jonahan Romero for that matter.
^i doubt it's a glitch. Shameless trick, really. Easier to land endorsements, gigs, etc. when people assume these players are part of the PMNT.

He is joking. He's not even Pinoy, so he won't get his Filipino passport.
I assume that Junior de Morga is actually Carli's brother, Antonio. He is not an Azkal as well. The ad is using the Azkals brand to probably give more credibility to its endorsers.

Yeah nothing but a shameless gimmick by those companies, but good thing for Dario though, I know the salary he's getting from Kaya and it's really small so I guess he's happy to get these commercial endorsement deals.
Btw, he models a clothing line in the Philippines too. Has anyone seen it on print? It was tweeted to me but can't find it anymore.
He's Bosnian-Swede fyi.

Per @dariodakic, if there's any UFL club who's interested in him for the next season, he's willing to listen to offers.
