Admin, mods and members,
How about a UFL page with separate threads for individual teams? Our UFL thread is getting unwieldy and good team info is forgotten after a page or two. I know its a lot of separate threads but in the long run it'll legitimize this site into the best and most complete footy site for the Philippines. I suggest we keep the main UFL thread(for overall UFL news), also.
I know it's a lot of work, but I think members will love that they can go to their favorite team thread and post whatever they want. By the way there are at least 2 coaches/officials of UFL teams that I know of that are members of this forum.
To make it somewhat easier, we could start with just Div 1 teams.
I'm willing to help with this.

Wiking...
I'll think about this by the next maintenance period. Seems a great idea there.

Hello all, In cooperation with our site owner and Administrator, usapangfootball.com makes it easier for you to post "team specific" post or discussions concerning your favorite Division 1 UFL team! click here: usapangfootball.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=div1The Administrator has an idea to grow the site along with the UFL and not just focusing on the Azkals. With this, rest assured that usapangfootball.com will stay head and shoulders above any other Philippine football specific site. So what are you waiting for? Post away...

Nice job on the UFL team forums Wiking. The UFL thread has gotten a lot more traffic lately and the teams definitely can use their own thread at this point in time similar to what bigsoccer eventually did. With all the updates you have been adding, I think the forum has become the best source for finding out what is happening with each team. Keep up the good work.

Gentlemen,
I suggest not closing and archiving match threads immediately after the match as people might still want to add to the discussion. A good wait should be about a week or so. This is not the Eligible to Profile list.

IMO, i actually like the dark background just because it's easier on the eyes specially if you spend alot of time here reading. Greyish background is cool too.
One idea though, it would be nice to have a "like" button under each comment or "+" or "-" system just so we can get a quick feedback if people agree or disagree with what we are saying instead of anyone having to post "i agree" or "i disagree". If they want to elaborate more, they will post a comment anyway. But just incase some one doesnt have time. Kind of like in ESPN comments or Yahoo comments. Just a thought. It would definitely help with surveys like these because you can see right away which idea is popular with people.

Remember our discussion about the "Karma" system? usapangfootball.com/index.cgi?board=siteissues&action=display&thread=917Admin and slayermoonlight did not want it because it "abuses the ability to smite" whenever someone makes a negative post. If you really want to, then ask Admin about it.

Yeah, I remember that. But that's not what i meant. I'm talking about for each comment though. Not the person.

If someone likes or dislike a comment from another poster, then he/she should instead post MATURELY, RESPECTFULLY, and CONSTRUCTIVELY to express his agreement/disagreement rather than just hitting a Like/Dislike button. It also encourage others to think critically and really convey what they really feel which might as well contribute something substantial in our forum.

It also encourage others to think critically and really convey what they really feel which might as well contribute something substantial in our forum. I understand but I think most people here are mature enough and would add something more to the discussion if they see that no one has made the same point that they are thinking. And i think there are a number of people who also come in to just browse and not say anything but they do agree or disagree with statements posted on here. They just dont want to take the time to write "yes, i think so too" or something along those lines. At least having a "like/dislike" button gives us a gauge of how many of us feel about a topic. For example, regarding the YH bros and PFF issue, if someone says "i think the PFF is in the wrong because of so and so reasons" and we see 50 people liked it as oppose to just 4 dislikes then we can easily see how most of us feel about the situation. Then we can move to further discuss why that is. I'm not saying this needs to be done. Im totally cool if we cant have it. I'm just making a case for it since admin did ask for suggestions.

I like the "like/dislike" or "upvote/downvote" idea. It works in Reddit, YouTube, etc. It also reduces the occurrence of flaming posts. If you don't like what someone said, thumb it down and move on. I'm not sure it's possible under the proboards infrastructure, though.

my only suggestion, i know it might not get much traffic but,how about PROFILES section for the malditas? i know we have the scouting page but not much on the current players, with the improvement they are having everytime they play, its just a matter of time they will compete for attention with the mens team

is it possible not to restrict it to 10 most recent post and make it extensive, so it wouldn't be hard to back read and find where you left of .
