U14 Boys Tryouts (AFC U14 Boys Festival of Football 2016) April 4, 2016 PFF Coaches are holding nationwide tryouts to select 30 players to compose the pool for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U14 Festival of Football 2016 to be held at Brunei Darussalam on 18-31 July 2016. Head Coach Emelio “Chieffy” Caligdong and assistant coaches Michael Castanos and Nestorio Margarse are conducting the tryouts. For Mindanao, the tryouts were held at the PFF Regional Training Centre in Valencia, Bukidnon last 19-20 March 2016. For Visayas, the tryouts will be held at Central Philippine University football field, Iloilo City on 9-10 April 2016. For Luzon, the tryouts will be held at Rizal Memorial Football Stadium on 16-17 April 2016. Eligible players are those within the age group (born 01 January 2002 to 31 December 2002). Earlier, PFF scouting coaches have identified players who excelled during the recent Festivals of Football conducted in 8 venues nationwide and participated in by teams from PFF member associations (U12 Girls, U12 Boys, U14 Girls, and U14 Boys). 24 July 2016 U14 Boys National Team all set for the AFC U14 Regional Festival of Football 2016 The U14 Boys National Team departs on Sunday (24 July 2016) for Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam to compete in the AFC U14 Regional Festival of Football 2016. The competition kicks off on 26 July 2016 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex, Bandar Seri Begawan. The Philippines will be competing alongside Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, and Vietnam. The competition format will be discussed during the Team Coordinator’s Meeting on 25 July 2016. PFF Authorizes Laos and Global Youth Teams to Participate in Borneo Cup 2016 September 22, 2016
The PFF has authorised the youth teams of Laos FC and Global FC to participate in the Borneo Cup 2016 held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malasyia on 18 Septmber – 01 October 2016. The Competition is an annual tournament organised by the Football Association of Malaysia through its member Sabah Football Association, which caters to junior players from ASEAN countries plus Australia.
The PFF Affiliate clubs, Global FC and Laos FC, have been joining the Borneo Cup for two years to date. The teams these local clubs send are not national teamsp, although may have players who are in the national team pool.
The PFF’s authorization for these youth clubs to compete at the international setting is in line with its objective to train and expose Filipino youth players to further their development in football.

U-14 booters finish third in Borneo Cup MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines U-14 team, made up for players of the Global FC and Laos FC’s youth squads, bagged third place honors in the Borneo Football Cup at the Penampang Stadium in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia recently. Jill Pillora of Iloilo, Nicolai Abalos of Laguna, Josh Asignar and Tristan Enad of Cebu and Drexler Valencia of Dumaguete and Gregory Tacondong bannered the Pru-Life UK-backed squad, which included discoveries from the grassroots development program. It was the country’s highest finish since the Phl joined the annual event, organized by the Football Association of Malaysia through its member Sabah Football Association, in 2013. Pillora, Abalos, Asignar, Enad and Valencia were scouted in their hometowns in 2013 and brought to the UK for elite training by the British Council and Pru Life UK, while Tacondong was a standout at the Football for a Better Life event in Gingoog, Misamis Oriental. Alfredo Ray Estacion and Richard Jay Alipar served as coaches of the team backed by Spears FC and the Azkals Foundation whose participation was also sanctioned by the Philippine Football Federation. “The PFF affiliate clubs, Global FC and Laos FC, have been joining the Borneo Cup for two years to date. The Philippine Boys Under-15 squad will compete in the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Under-15 Championship 2017 which will be held in Chonburi, Thailand from 9-22 July 2017.

In preparation, the Under-15 had an initial training camp in Los Banos, Laguna before facing Indonesia Under-16. A second training camp was conducted in Iloilo City, Iloilo in the build up to the tournament.

Amir Amaikurut and Shaninho Clemente I think are eligible for this team. Amir stand about 5'11". while Clemente now plays for FC Manila Meralco U-15 he used to play for Kaya FC Academy.
Paolo Perez of AC Milan is also eligible. but maybe PFF wasn't able to contact him.

Philippines U15 Boys in AFF U15 Championship 2019 Friday, July 26, 2019 The Philippine Under-15 Boys National Team will compete in the AFF U15 Championship 2019 which will be held from 27 July to 9 August 2019 in Chonburi, Thailand. The Philippines is in Group A and will face Indonesia, Myanmar, Singapore, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. The top two teams at the end of the group stage will advance to the knock-out stages. Matches will be held at the Institute of Physical Education in Chonburi, Thailand. Former national team player Bongbong Roxy Dorlas is the head coach. He is assisted by Christian Salanguit, Reggie Miraflores, and Ralph Nino Datoy. PFF Head of Youth Development Reiji Hirata is the team’s consultant and PFF Grassroots Officer David Javellana is the Team Manager. The PFF called up 23 players for the competition. The team had a one month training camp at PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.
