INDONESIAIndonesian Selection to entertain Juventus in AugustJAKARTA (25 June 2014) – An Indonesian Selection side has been penned down to take on Serie A champions Juventus FC in Jakarta in August.
Juventus, who have been the Italian champions for the past three seasons, are on their pre-season tour and where they will play Indonesian Selection on 6 August at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
Jakarta is their first stop in Asia before Australia (10 August) and Singapore (16 August).
“We are very enthusiastic to begin our Asian tour in an important country like Indonesia where they have a big fan base and of course, having a big following of Juventus,” said Nicola Verdun, head of global partnerships Juventus.

MYANMARYANGON (28 June 2014) – The Myanmar national team fell to a 1-0 loss in a friendly to Japanese J-League side Cerezo Osaka at the Youth Training Centre in Thuwunna.
The game is being used as part of their build-up for the AFF Suzuki Cup qualifiers at the end of the year.

MALAYSIAAFF SUZUKI CUP: Malaysia include DPR Korea in Friendlies PlanPETALING JAYA (2 July 2014) –The FA of Malaysia (FA) have mapped out a series of friendlies over the course of the next several months which also included DPR Korea as they look to give more bite to their AFF Suzuki Cup campaign at the end of the year.
Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin, the general secretary of the FAM said this week that so far, they have confirmed three matches.
“For our AFF Suzuki Cup campaign, we have arranged friendlies against Tajikistan on 6 August away and also against Singapore on 6 September away. We will play Jordan on 18 November at home,” said Hamidin.
“We have also lined up two more matches in November – against New Zealand and Korea Utara. Both teams have agreed to the match but we just needed to work out on a few things for the moment.“We would of course like to arrange for more friendly matches especially during Ramadhan and also after the Malaysia Cup final (1 November). But that depends on the programme of the new national coach.”
The AFF Suzuki Cup begins on 22 November.

SINGAPORE:AFF SUZUKI CUP: Torpedo and Dinamo test for SingaporeSINGAPORE (5 July 2014) – The Singapore national team has lined up friendlies against Russian sides Torpedo Moscow and also Dinamo Moscow as part of their preparation for the AFF Suzuki Cup at the end of the year.
The squad under Bernd Stange will be in Salzburg, Austria on 7-23 July where other than the two matches, they will also take on Czech side FC Brno.
“It is an excellent opportunity for our players to be playing against European professionals,” said Stange.
“Having daily training in such an ideal environment and playing against good players will definitely help in our preparations for the AFF Suzuki Cup at the end of the year. I am also using this trip as an opportunity to select the best players for the big match against Juventus on 16 August.”

While Vietnam are using the game to polish up a squad for the main draw of the AFF Suzuki Cup which they will be hosting one group in Hanoi, the Myanmar side will have to play in a qualifying competition in Laos in September.
