ano yung "cpu international fc" sounds new to me..are they based in manila? CPU stands for Central Philippine University, in Iloilo City. The football team is mostly composed of Koreans who study there. CPU International FC is the core of the old Stallion FC (the koringgo connection two seasons ago) Also the university team of Lee Joo Young (Stallion FC) , this team "might" include former stallion standouts center back Nam , left back Pi midfielder Yoon . or this the new batch of koreans.

thanks for the info..everyone. I'm sure this team would bring a new level in the UFL. I'm just kinda sad, because most of the team in UFL are occupied by school based teams. Like UP(pachanga),ateneo(lms),la salle(gau),pcu(dolphins united) and now cpu. I mean these teams belong to a college league like ncaa. But however I think that its alright as they give experience to the league. I just like to see the UFL someday, with teams that are named after places/regions.

Im from cpu and all of the players are koreans. They usually play together with stallions when stallions was still training in cpu. The coach is Dr.Pi who once handled stallions. And Nam still plays for cpu..just saw him practice last week.

stallion fc.... Sta. Lucia will not continue its sponsorship deal with Stallion FC. Rufo might be on an extended loan(transfer?) to Global. Defender Kim is transferring to a yet to be named club. A sponsorship deal with SMC will be most suitable...."San Miguel Beer Stallions" sounds just right, anyway the club was named after the product. The club founders were avid patrons of that particular beer beverage. I want RED HORSE STALLIONS FC

CPU International played in a 5-team invitational tourney three weeks ago in Barotac Nuevo. They swept the tournament beating the Phil Army FC twice, 2-0 in the elims and (0-0) 4-3PK at the championship match. CPU dominated the armymen in both matches with more than 60% possession.

The 2013 UFL Cup season starts early September (to accomodate the SEA Games by December). The 2014 UFL league season starts middle or late January.

UFL should change timeslot. When I get home from work, second match nalang ang naabutan ko which is kinda frustrating. They should change it to 6:00PM(major offices closed during this time). Specially for people like me(employed), this would be a good thing.

got some "rumor" I filipino-Mexican footballer playing in the United States/or mexico is in the country to process or planning to go the country . he recently became a free agent , and might try his luck on Azkals or even UFL , and he already "booked" some try out sessions on some UFL clubs . He plays the striker position.

Ibalik sana sa AKTV

Ang kulit nyo talaga! AKTV is no more then you say you want it back? The UFL in a few months will have to suffer as it competes airtime with AksyonTV's news programs, the PBA and other sports programming. Unless the management would terminate their contract with TV5, and offer their services to another broadcaster. Studio 23 is a possibility, but GMA News TV can also place a bid now that they opened their channel to sports offerings. What do you think?

GMA NEWS TV's coverage of V-league sucks big time. aside for a late telecast, it lacks character. with TV5's current programming, UFL will compete with PBA's airtime in Aksyon TV. for me, Studio 23 is the better option. with the hype of UAAP finals at the time UFL starts the UFL cup, it will definitely help promoting the league.

Agree Studio 23 is way better. Akala ko ako lang nakapansin na walang kabuhaybuhay yung presentation nila ng v-league, sayang malinaw pa naman reception. Also, I don't want to see football players giving a lot of interviews to Arnold Clavio, Chino Trinidad, and FTW hosts (except Roy Moore)..
