INFO Hey guys I just discoverd this guy in a friendly game against Paris and i would like to know if you knew about him. He plays for Rapid de Vienne a first division team in Austria who also plays the Europa Cup. Like Alaba he is half Austrian half Pinoy. He was a U-19 national team member for Austria and played over 20 games for the U-17, U-18 national team. I strongly believe he will be a great asset for the Filippino national team.

Can anyone confirm about his Filipino lineage. Is there a proof that he has a Filipino blood?

I dont know why no one seems interested in responding to this post. I took the initiative to contact him, guys this player plays in a Top professional league. Not in fifth german division or fourth Swedish division.
We have to get this guy for the azkals.

Yes this guy is perfect. Like i said he is a professional player he also represented Austria in all the youth teams. He didnt make it to the national team. He is already 24 and if he was that good like Alaba he would have represented Austria a long time ago. So this a opportunity for the Azkals.
I contacted him, he speaks a little english but my german is not too bad. He confirmed me his mother is from the Philippines.

martinv He could really be a welcome addition to the Azkals defense and with his height he may be able to play CB. Is he interested to play for the Philippines? If he is I think he deserves an invite from the Azkals mgmt for a tryout during their one of their camps.

I also think this guy could a MAJOR asset. I will send him more information. But i just dont understand why the people who are in charge of this forum are not answering or showing any interest on this player. I understand everyone is very excited about Areola, but we have to be realistic he will never play for the azkals i live in France and everyone knows that he will play for the French National team.
We should focus on finding players for the Azkals and right now Stephan Palla is one of them. I watch his game against Paris he was really good, he has the level to play for the azkal.

He'll get some attention here in time specially if he plays at a higher level than the current Azkals mainstay. While he plays LB and we have Cagara and Christaens him being able to play CB will really make him valuable. That said if he plays better than the them I see no reason him getting a call or even a start. One thing is for sure he will add depth and you can move Christaens at LW.

I totaly agree with you. Right now the azkals needs depth in defence. And this guy might be the solution. Of course he is not a world class player.
But unlike the other scounting that where submited in the forum he is a pro player that plays in the first team of a good European team.

Ok here I am answering your queries. If you have known already, Dan Palami has said last year that the Azkals management have shunned away of holding try-outs for the senior team, to focus themselves on only calling-up players based on credentials. I would suggest that Stephan must submit his credentials directly to the team management, like we have done for Javier Patiño when someone have posted his profile here a few months ago. We will try to alert the management for this, but we can't guarantee his call-up.

Surely a lot will be interested.
