Ugh. What a heartbreaker! I don't know, it seemed our team was doing all right. It's just that the Taiwanese goalie had a great night and they converted their only two chances to goals. That's just the way the ball rolls sometimes. However, I was disappointed that the team didn't walk around to greet the fans.

It was heartbreaking as we held an Azkals viewing party here in UAE for some non-Azkals friends. Although they still think we should have won, they believe the Azkals still needs a lot of work. They have a lot of work to do for The Challenge cup...maybe the friendly here in UAE can assess how they will play as they have 2games together so the UAE friendly will be like their 3rd...Hoping for the best for the guys!

with our best striker out we cant convert, aside from young defenders i think we need another ufl based striker, we missed the patinos and wolfs on this match with phil out. I also thought that Juani isnt match fit. Hopng for a Pakistan win and a good win for our team on tuesday.

i really don't want to see De Jong at CB, Fernandez can be a good option. has anyone noticed Barbaso's performance? he seemed like he is not the usual Barbaso i used to see. his quickness deteriorate last night plus he was exposed by the LW of Taipei.
CT only needs a draw tomorrow and they will take home the trophy. this is the problem of a group consisting of only 3 teams. once you lose, the chances of winning the title will be slim

Barbaso is not for Int'l matches YET. Dinadaga pa siguro. But it's good sinasanay na, kaso sana di magbackfire (It's either ma-challenge sya, or panghinaan ng loob). The looming problem of our NT is this, BACK FOUR. You can notice Weiss is having a hard way forming a new back four for our team for the Challenge Cup. Maybe we have the pieces (cross out de Jong as a CB), but all of his experiments resulting to a failure. Deadline is coming, he has 4 - 5 friendlies before Maldives, he should figure out what to do at the back. As for the offense, I'm not so alarmed, I'm not a fan of "ifs", but if only PYh & Mulders was match fit, you can expect a goalfest. Relaks lang mga pre, it's just the Peace Cup, a mere friendly, a preparation for something big. Ang kumalas sa fandom ng Azkals, babalik din yan pag nananalo na ulit ang team. Baka Pinoy yan!

I think the system which overseas arrived two days or a day before a match also contributed to this defeat. . . they must correct this as soonest otherwise expect a debacle in Maldives. . .

Pray that Pakistan must win against Taipei today. I hope or else Taipei will take home the trophy. It's the last chance.

Coach MW should stop the "de jong at CB" experiment, i see de murga at CB much logical than the de jong experiment but he's out. But lets keep our hope on barbaso with de murga is uncertain. What i want to see was the cohesion of the peace cup team last year. I hope we can improve so that hindi tayo lamunin ng UAE at India sa november.

coach weiss should hold a training camp before going to a tournament. He should've done a 3 or 4 week intensive practice with all the players, including fil-foreigners. The disappointing thing is kahit jet-lagged or unprepared yung player ilalagay parin nya sa starting line-up.

THANK YOU PAKISTAN Chinese Taipei 0 - PAKISTAN 1Former Fulham player Zesh Rehman made the difference on 7th minute and Pakistan prevented TPE from equalizing it.
Now, it's time to defeat them by 2 goals. The Coach must not experiment on our final match to get the trophy.
