Well since Daniels is being considered for the national team, I decided to open up this thread. He is a 19 y/o midfielder/forward who plays for Kaya FC and who just recently graduated from Riverside La Sierra High School in California, USA. It is quite possible that Dooley knows about him beforehand because they both live in California and Dooley coached teams in that same age group level as Daniels. An article was written about him during his high school days when he was considered a prolific scorer.

Daniels is La Sierra’s closer
Daniels is what soccer people call a “finisher.” When he gets set up for a shot, chances are it’s going to end up as a goal for La Sierra. What sounds easy usually isn’t, which is what makes Daniels’ skill so valuable.
“He’s your true closer — he’s always at the right place at the right time,” Riverside Arlington coach Kevin Watson said. “He’s very technically skilled. When he gets a chance, he puts it in the back of the net.
“They’re not necessarily easy goals; he just makes it look easy.”
It’s all about believing in yourself, Daniels suggested.
“Confidence is everything,” he said. “If you’re not confident, things can go bad. You get scared to take shots and if you do shoot, you don’t have everything into it.
“I didn’t expect this many goals. Once I started scoring, like almost every game, I got more confidence and it just kept coming for me.”
Some of that confidence may have come two years ago, when Daniels had a chance to go live with an uncle who was a coach for a semi-pro team in New Zealand and suggested his nephew play soccer in the under-19 division.
Daniels, whose father, Gary, is an actor and former kickboxing champion originally from England, and whose mother is from the Philippines, had already traveled to those countries. He hopes to go to college and play soccer in the Philippines after he graduates.
