No chance na ba na bumalik maglaro si sabio? Retire na? Pwede naman siyang maglawyer after 30+ y/o na siya...

I talked to Sabio when he was in Chicago 2 years ago. He said that his credits in law school(which he had already taken) will only be recognized for a short period of time. So he will have to make a decision on whether to pursue his law studies or continue playing football. Considering that being a lawyer offers a more stable and long lasting career than that of an athlete, he apparently chose to continue his law studies.
He was allowed by his law school to make a short sabbatical from his studies, but ultimately he was forced to return if he still wanted to finish his degree with the credits he had taken still being recognized.

I heard Angel is practising with the Global again. he's good but has some issues over-handling the ball. he also dives alot. I believe if he can change those, he could click in the system of coach dooley.

Just chismis or news or rumors . Apparently the management (maybe the coach , he fought for the inclusion of some players sa national team sa malaysia azerbaijan , maybe he will fight for this college guys also) is insisting the inclusion of 3 or 4 , UAAP stars sa training camp ng azkals , kaso may conflict , (or meron ayaw , but not the players of course) so baka "extra special" talent talagang ang mga UAAP players na ito , kung bakit gusto silang isama sa training camp , pero meron conflict kaya malabo pa for now .

yeah Sabio is a good CB. But he didn't play in quite a long time. It will be a risk putting him in the lineup on challenge cup.

Sabio went back to law school to finish his degree. Sabio already passed the bar.“@boyzeeeteee: @jsabio3 is there a possibility of u wearing the Azkals Jersey again?” I'd love that opportunity since I'm done with the bar!

That is good to hear. The last time I talked to him directly was 2 years ago when the team visited Chicago and I didn't know how far along he was in finishing his degree. If he passed his bar, then there is still the chance of him playing for us. However, if he receives offers from law firms in the US, to start working for them, I think it would be hard for him to turn them down.
I have heard though, that the job market for new lawyers in the US are not too bright right now, so it is always possible that he will play for us in the meantime. From what he told me, some of the executives in the UFL offered him a job with their respective corporations, so it is possible he would take up those offers while continuing his playing career.

. . . or he could have been recruited by the CIA, or the FBI, maybe the DEA? and now operating and doing undercover work.
. . . we could also ask if he can do work for "Usapang..." website, a little extra gig on the side pro bono?

I just did a search on usapang from comments back in 2012. Jason was in his final year in law school when he took the sabbatical to play for the Azkals. No wonder he went back to finish his degree. Congrats to him for finishing law school and taking the bar exam.
Anyways all this is just a recap of what has already been discussed in the past, which some of you might not be aware of.
