Mark Hartmann scored a brace last night in their win against GAU. he was named the MOTM, but why wasn't he included in the NT roster?
i also have different thoughts on playing against the tough Malaysian squad without our top striker in Phil, the good thing is we still have plenty of options as Porteria is coming back, we have the rising star in Dizon and the underrated Balot Doctora with the help of veteran JYH & Reichelt.
this is my starting XI
Deyto
Carli - Aguinaldo - Rota - Sato
Greatwich - Lucena
JYH - Steuble - Dizon
Doctora

My guess is if you are a UFL player and haven't been called up for the friendlies in Qatar and the upcoming one in Malaysia, your chances of making the final Challenge Cup roster is practically nil. That means that former national team players like Chieffy Caligdong, Angel Guirado and Jason Sabio are probably not going to make the team for this event considering how close it is.
Dooley seems to have developed a 2 pronged strategy of introducing new players to international competition, that are relatively young that they can develop for future competitions, rather than relying on older veterans, while keeping the core of the team intact. Many of this other players will not make the cut anyway when the European based players arrive, so my guess is he prefers to expose this younger players to the rigors of international competition, in order to prepare for such tournaments as the Suzuki Cup.

Delro just named capt for tomorrow's friendly. This will be a good test for Delro as he fills in the CB position. This will also be a chance for Dooley to test delro's leadership at the back now that Juani and Gier are not available.

i went to CCSC last night to watch some of their drills, one thing i noticed is that Dooley made some defensive tactics to our defenders. the backline is composed of Rota - Aguinaldo - Del Rosario - Sato
so i presume they are our starters at the back later this evening. the ticket status is far from getting sold-out the last time i bought my ticket but im still hoping for a descent attendance later
