I think 180 minute means two games similar to a home and away format.

I hope so, because a 180 minute game is ridiculous.

Completely useless/pointless competition! It's just another thing for the people behind the ufl to say that they're developing the sport or anything else along those lines!
Cup competition, league and then another cup competition and this is on top of a season which has been quite stop-start.

I think it is a good thing, because now there will be more ambition to get in the top 6 to participate in this competition.

I like the intention behind the competition but this is a bit redundant to me. If there's a "trifecta" to compete for, it should be the UFL League, UFL Cup and a regional club competition.

Apparently, they wanted the MLS style. League (Season) ---> Playoffs (MLS Cup). As a fan, it's good I can still watch the UFL knowing that the Season is over. Teams now have the motivation to fight for the six places. But for the players (notably the national team players), I think it's an overkill, really. They need rest.

The suits behind the ufl are even more retarded than I initially thought then! A league of only nine (9), yet they still feel the need to have competitions that mimics a playoff?!? This is already on top of a triple round robin season rather than the usual double... bunch retards!! As I've said, it's just another supposed feather in their cap for them to say that they're making significant strides in developing the sport and all that BS!

Shoulda just made the super cup between pff cup champs vs ufl league champs in a 2 legged home-away format. Much more interesting. 2 teams!

The higher-ups at the UFL and the PFF will have to study the issues thoroughly (particularly air and sea travel durations and lack of viable facilities) before they can sort other factors (teams, competition format).
