Position: Left Midfielder Iain Ramsay (born 27 February 1988 in Perth) is an Australian born association football player who currently plays for Adelaide United in the Australian A-League. Ramsay brought up in Sydney, moved overseas to kickstart his career. With a successful trial in Scotland, Ramsay signed a youth contract with Gretna FC. Ramsay played for the youth and reserve team at Gretna FC though was unsuccessful on gaining a first team contract with the Scottish 1st Division Club. Ramsay then came back to Australia to play in the New South Wales Premier League for Sydney Olympic before being snapped up by Sydney FC for their youth team in the 2009-10 season. In 2010 he made his first senior team debut for recently crowned Premiers Sydney FC in their first leg semi-final loss against Melbourne Victory. He's eligible to play for Australia, Scotland, and the Philippines (according to the FM database ;D). www.adelaideunited.com.au/default.aspx?s=aleague_profile&pid=2147&tid=6en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iain_Ramsay

This guy can strengthen our left wing. He will bring balance in attacking with James YH on the right wing. They can create more space for Phil with a more dangerous forward up front. Our opponents might panic defending because our crosses are raining from both wings. Just my 2 cents.

The PFF or Boss Dan should contact this guy. Maybe he has already been contacted. Definitely the PFF know that he has Filipino lineage. So if there is no word regarding his availability then there is the possibility he has not decided or if he has he is keeping it to himself. Maybe he is not making a comment after reading the nonsense that was written by so called fans regarding the position of Jonathan de Guzmán. So to the haters please take a deep breath, take a step back and keep your hateful and illogical comments to yourself.
