I may have miss some back reading here, but is anybody here know why No.1 rank in SEA (Philippines) not participating in 2014 Asian Games? The PFF didn't bother to submit entries anymore since apparently the POC-PSC Task Force announced that team sports must pass its criteria of ‘Top 5’ in Asia before the September 19-October 4 Asiad. source

What a disaster. Sayang 'yung opportunity to compete and to mesh further. Whose fault is this?

^ PSC and POC. They initially agreed to send Azkals to the Asian Games. But upon knowing that it will be an U-23 tournament (with only few overage players), they didn't allow the team's participation.

The PSC and the POC don't think of the future of sport in our country. Puro "no money" always sabi nila.
