Is it possible to have a National League? What is the name of the league? My thoughts: Check out this link en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regions_of_the_PhilippinesTry to imagine the following: 1. Component Local Government Units ( The Qualifiers). Click "Show" to view the lists of Cities. Top teams will represent each region. 2. There are 17 regions in our country, let say the bigger regions e.g. NCR, Central Luzon, EV etc... will have a chance to earn 2 spots in order to complete the 20 teams. 3. 20 Teams will be divide by 2 groups 4. Each team will play 9 matches. 5. Top 2 teams from each group will move to the next round 6. Top A vs 2nd Top B, Top B vs 2nd Top A (1st leg & 2nd Leg) 7. Winner 1 vs Winner 2 (Finals), Loser 1 vs Loser 2 (3rd)

I think we should consider the league structure of US Major League Soccer (MLS) and Australian Hyundai A-League, with no promotion or relegation system. It is more feasible I think than the pyramid structure of major league system in the world.
If i am an owner of a club, considering the lack of funds and TV coverage, I might consider dissolving my club rather than relegating to Division 2 because of cost of operating a football club.
This is my opinion.
