Our UAAP boys bringing the fight to The Singaporeans! 5 years ago, the only local player I know that I feel is technically gifted is Chieffy. Man this kids are great technically! What more if you have an Ott, Aguinaldo, Sato and Hartmann?

Regardless if we lose the game vs Singapore, I am still proud of our boys. This is probably one of our most technically gifted team the past year. From Gk, to leftback and rightback. The motor of Santos our rightback to our midfields. You are right, oue future looks bright. Our 2011 team was composed of filipinos raised abroad, while this team after 4 years we were able to put up a team from our local collegiate team.

Maybe that's the reason they didn't include azkals eligible players like OJ, Dizon etc. They had a program just like what the Thais are doing. The core of their national team are U23 standouts that beat our team last Suzuki Cup. The same squad that beat China senior team last year and led to their coach being fired.

Really good effort from our team. I really like the composure.
Hope we build on this and I think we have a shot in the SF.

One thing lacking our team right now is a legit striker and a playmaker midfield. We have good defensive mids in Amita and Bugas, plus defenders with good ball techniques. And of course height, but who cares about height if our players are playing like this. Anyway i hope they sustain this game. However they should not be contented on playing "not to lose" insteas they need to play to win games.

gutsy display from our U23! SG is technically better than us but somehow our team were able to negate that most of the time and of course with some luck. hehe
undone by a freekick yet again in JBS! wew.

IMO i think they played really well. The months of training and preparation definitely worked out for this team. One thing our previous youth squads lacked despite the addition of recruits based abroad was their training time together
