okay. It's really hard for me to search online for a livestream because believe it or not I am here in Iraq right now where a lot of streaming websites and cable channels are blocked. if i don't find luck this thursday with the livestreams, then i would just rely on livescores instead and wait for the reply to be uploaded on youtube or elsewhere. I suggest taking dan17808's advice. Try VPN. It is a way of getting around blocked streams. You can ask dan17808 about the details on how to get about doing that. As the date for the game gets closer, you can also check here for alternative streaming sites.

Odds stacked against Azkals in WC qualifiers By Cedelf P. Tupas PHILIPPINE Azkals coach Thomas Dooley knows he has tough decisions to make with his lineup for the World Cup Qualifying match against Bahrain on Thursday at Philippine Sports Stadium. Dooley has been tasked to handle what is considered the strongest team that the country has assembled in a tournament where the odds will be stacked against the Azkals. But with quality players competing for positions in the starting eleven, Dooley could leave out some players who have figured prominently in past tournaments. Dooley is far from worried, saying that he trusts his players to respect his decisions. “Our players are professionals and they know their roles in the team,” said the former United States captain. With Dooley expected to play a three-man backline, veterans Rob Gier and Juani Guirado will be competing for playing time against youngsters like Daisuke Sato and Luke Woodland, who has impressed in training camp. Austrian League Stephan Palla is also bidding for a starting spot just like rightback Simone Rota. “At least, depth won’t be a problem with the team that we have now,” said Azkals manager Dan Palami. BTW, I just wanted to mention those in the middle east should go to Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium, Doha (Qatar) on June 16 to support the Azkals against Yemen.

The livestream I posted is now saying private. I wonder if ABSCBN has asked the AFC to block that site. If this doesn't work on game day, those of us who live abroad are going to have to find alternative sites.

Includes a video interview of Neil cnnphilippines.com/sports/2015/06/09/World-Cup-Qualifier-Philippines-Azkals-Bahrain-Neil-Etheridge-Thomas-Dooley.htmlThe Philippine Azkals received reinforcements in almost every position ahead of the World Cup Qualifiers against Bahrain this Thursday (June 11) at the Philippine Sports Arena. Goalkeeper Neil Etheridge believes that the additions have made the squad more dynamic. "I think with this squad that we have quite a versatile squad," said Etheridge. "We have certain players that can play in different positions." The 19-year-old Luke Woodland is a prime example of that according to Etheridge. "Luke Woodland's come in naturally a center midfielder and I think he can play center back as well," said Etheridge. Related: Younghusband feels less pressure to score now that Azkals have more options Apart from Woodland, the Philippines will see new boys Stephan Palla, Kevin Ingreso, and Iain Ramsay for the first time during the World Cup Qualifiers. The Philippines will also have the likes of Stephan Schrock and Javier Patiño, who returned after a prolonged period of absence. They will be reinforced by local standouts Phil Younghusband, Patrick Reichelt, and Mark Hartmann among others. "Looking through this squad it will be very hard to pick a starting 11," said Etheridge. "It will be a hard decision for coach Dooley before the game to see who steps out on that field."

I am excited for this game! Cant wait to see our boys in action! Just to share with u guys, me and my wife had a misunderstanding and we are not talking to each other lately. So I decidied to leave the house and runaway for a couple of days. So as soon as i was packing my stuff, i saw a ticket for 2 for this coming june 11. This was an advance father's day gift for me from my wife since she knows how i love this sport. Of course, with my pride, i still left our house. Then i realized, i have been waiting for this game for so long, to see how good the new additions are, so i swallowed my pride and returned home. I told wife i could not leave her but the reality is, dont want to miss this game! Hahaha... Come on you azkals! We will win and we are going to support you all the way!

World Cup Qualifier: Azkals must force Bahrain to play our game, says coach By Paolo del Rosario, CNN Philippines Updated 20:00 PM PHT Wed, June 10, 2015 72 Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The last time that Bahrain and the Philippines met on the football field was in a friendly back in March, which the Arab nation won 2-1. But when the two nations meet once again for the World Cup Qualifer on Thursday (June 11) at the Philippine Sports Stadium, the make up of the two teams will be very different. Related: Azkals' Etheridge: 'We are a versatile squad' Apart from the players Bahrain have rested during the friendly in March, the Philippines also have to deal with the their opponent's new coach. Bahrain will be led out by former World Cup winner and Argentinian international, Sergio Batista, who was appointed to the position just last May. The recent appointment has shrouded the Bahrain side in mystery. "It may be different," said Filipino striker Phil Younghusband. "We don't know what to expect because they have a new coach." It is a change that leaves Philippine team coach Thomas Dooley curious on how they would play against the Filipinos. Dooley scouted out the recent Bahrain 1-1 draw against Thailand and recognized a change in the way they played. "So now they got a new coach and when we watched the game against Thailand, he changed a couple of things," said Dooley. "We don't even know how they [will] play against us." Even though Dooley is expecting an opponent he knows little of tactically, he stresses that the Filipinos need to impose themselves and force Bahrain to adapt to their own way of play. "We have to play our game the way we want to play," said Dooley. "I would rather have them play our game, the way we want to play and they need to adjust to us." Related: Younghusband feels less pressure to score now that Azkals have more options But with the new players coming in, the national team has an air of mystery about themselves as well. The arrival of Stephan Palla, Iain Ramsay, Kevin Ingreso, and Luke Woodland give the Filipinos a brand new look - a look that even local fans have yet to see. With a chance to qualify for the World Cup at stake, this is set to be a completely different fixture when compared to last March's friendly. "We have four or five new players," said Younghusband. "It could be a completely different game and with more at stake, it could be a lot different." cnnphilippines.com/sports/2015/06/10/World-Cup-Qualifiers-Philippines-Bahrain-Younghusband-Dooley-Batista.html
