The game fell on the same date as the PBA Finals; probably has some effect in the attendance (as well as TV viewership).

PHI 1 - 3 BHR
Great goal by Mike Ott on his debut. I just wished Müller started as GK.

I thought we had played well especially in the 2nd half. We attacked while Bahrain sat back and counter attacked. And Mike Ott, he is very good. Also, it looks like Phil is starting to regress. or maybe just an off game?

I understand Woodland is not a natural CB but last night was like Aguinaldo alone covering both the central defence and Luke was nowhere. There was a moment in the first half where Aguinaldo had to save a Bahraini shot to the left post from a very easy build up near Steuble's position. Luke was near PYH then and Aguinaldo, after that Bahraini attack, seemed to have shouted something to Woodland. Anyway, I think it's a good experience for the youngsters. I hope they do better against DPRK.

In the last two years we're 1W-3L against Bahrain. The one win was fortunately when it counted, a World Cup qualifier, but we also lost one World Cup Qualifier.
Yes, it's a friendly but still disappointing to lose like this. I haven't seen the highlights. When the team gives up a goal in the first five minutes and then during added time at the end, one has to question whether mental lapses were at play. Coach Dooley needs to work the team on that. This may be the B or B- team, but I suspect this is the team we're going to have for the Suzuki Cup because many of our players won't be available.

Attendance for Bahrain friendly was only 1500-2000. Lowest attendance for a very long time for a international friendly in Philippines ?

Unfortunately the game coincided with a PBA Finals. And Ginebra was playing so...
