it's F O O T B A L L!!!! NOT s o % c # r!!! Semantics. To be back on topic. Yes, we are built for football. But I think there are a lot of factors as to why football isn't mainstream here. Pitch maintenance for one. Its hard to keep a pitch in good playing form. We need a decent pitch to develop players. Bad pitches also leads to more injuries. So there's that. you're right. the problems with the pitch at the BSU has forced coach Michael Weiss to transfer the training of Azkals to the Brent School. we really need to address this issue so that our players can play football without getting injured.

^^ "if there's a will, there's a way" there are so many places to play on... rizal park, quirino grand stand, rizal sport complex, UP diliman, la salle football field, greenhills, ultra, etc.. now if you;re in the province... there' no reason to worry coz all you have to do is to ook for a vacant lot or grass field and you can play this game anytime you want as long as you're into this game. i strongly agree!

lol ... when I was in high school ... used to play soccer at the little park, behind the churchon weekends ... we would put anything, little rocks, bags, as markers for a small goal, and play 1-v-1 first with my buddy, chris, then that would go up to 5-v-5 or 8-v-8 depending on the number of other kids that would show up. at school, we would play after school, using the 2 adjacents fields with the concrete driveway as the midfield line. lol, that was a wide midfield ... 10 feet of concrete. so we all quickly learned that cleats are slippery on the concrete. 11-v-11, each player contributing 1 peso ... and that was the bet ... we switch goals at 2 ... we all end up eating ice candy after.
