Don't look now but he's been given a chance at a starting job(GK) for OB, a Superliga team. The team isn't doing too well at the moment hence a shuffling of some positions but as of today he's got a positive winning record.
Not that we need another GK but it's nice to know there are quality players out there.

Danish Superliga veteran goaltender Michael Falkesgaard is moving to Asia next year(I heard by January for Bangkok Glass) so he has expressed interest in joining the national team. He is still in the process of getting his passport.
With Muller now retired, he would make an excellent backup goaltender.

It is okay. Falkesgaard will only be the backup goaltender. Etheridge will still be our starting goalkeeper. You can only play one goalie at a time anyways.

Unconfirmed reports or should I say criculating in the rumor mill suggest that he will play for Bangkok Glass. Hopefully he will be released even just for Suzuki Cup fixtures in case Neil is not available.

BANGKOK UNITED SET TO SIGN DANISH-FILIPINO MICHAEL FALKESGAARD Bangkok United have expressed their design to grab Danish-Filipino goalkeeper Michael Falkesgaard from FC Midtjylland, according to reports from Thailand. Starting his professional career at Danish club Brøndby IF, he then went on to sign Odense Boldklub in 2015. However, since the goalkeeper got a serious knee injury after just 4 league matches, Odense Boldklub decided not to offer a contract extension to him. In July 2017, the 26-year-old signed a two-year contract with Danish topflight-club FC Midtjylland on a free transfer. Born with a Filipino descent, Falkesgaard is eligible to secure a place in Bangkok United as an ASEAN player, according to the regulation in Thai League 1 since next season. football-tribe.com/asia/2018/01/09/bangkok-united-danish-filipino-goalkeeper-michael-falkesgaard/
