Hi, David here, been a fan since 2010 WC and I've been loving the game ever since, I'm actually trying to become a coach but all I did was to watch and read "how tos" but it's a start so you can say I'm trying to pull an Andres Villas Boas here.

Name's jason. Long time reader but finally decided to register a couple of months ago. I've been a fan since i was 7 or 8. First game i saw on TV was Ajax vs. Milan. 95 champions league final where kluivert scored the only goal of the match. Since then, i became an Ajax fan and started to follow Liverpool too when Litmanen joined them. I was a part of Mr. Mckinnon's (ceburoo i believe is his user name) football clinic but i stopped because he mainly taught boys from one school and i went to a different school. Also my school didnt have a football team. So im more a fan than a player. First azkals game i saw on tv was shown on PTV. We played against Estonia at Rizal memorial stadium. We lost 1-0 if i remember it right. I had no idea who our players were. I was able to meet a few members of the old azkals (late 90s) thanks to my older brother who used to play for USC in the late 90s. Fegidero brothers and the goalkeeper that allowed 10 goals against Japan. Surprisingly he was pretty good when i saw him play in a local tournament in cebu back then. He said that japan was just too fast, had a lot of gas, and just too damn good. I followed the team via the internet when i lived abroad for a few years. pinoysoccer really helped keeping me informed about the national team. When I read on pinoysoccer that Caligdong scored two goals that gave us our first ever tiger cup win at the expense of timor leste was just awesome. The first time i finally got to see the team live was actually a tune up game against the cebu all stars. It was held at the USC field and only a handful of people showed up. I am and will always be thankful for the miracle in hanoi. Now, i don't have to look for hours for a good livestream and media coverage is now pretty good.

Hello everyone, some of you might know my nickname from IBN, and might have actually crossed swords with me there. It's great to see some familiar names from IBN here, which proves that genuine sports fans can be found everywhere.
I live in QC, played garage soccer as a kid, wanted to try out for the PSHS Labuyo but got intimidated by all of the AGS and LSGH talent there, made it to the Passerelle team and quit due to grades, went on to do long jumps in college, now working in a Pasig-based IT consulting firm that has full access to a midget-sized football field and dirt oval.
My passions, in no particular order:
Politics Basketball Football Track and field Poetry Music (good guitar solos in particular) Philippine sports
Some of the teams I support: Ateneo Blue Eagles and Lady Eagles PH Azkals Gilas Pilipinas PH Volcanoes Golden State Warriors FC Barca San Francisco 49ers Loyola Meralco Sparks
I joined this forum because I am a fan of all sports, not just basketball, and because I want to be there in 2014, the year Philippine sports becomes relevant again -- Gilas making it to the world stage, the Azkals making it to the Asian main stage, the Volcanoes staying in the A5N, and Pacquiao winning over Bradley.
Some people I know from outside this forum -- b3lowzro, leoisiah, santongbusabos (if I'm not mistaken).
Anyway, I'm here to learn and give inputs, and thankfully this forum doesn't have the bashing that one sees in places like PEx.
Kicking off!

Hey every one. Ruuikun is the name.
i have been lurking around this forum for a while now and finally decided to join..
I am a pure Filipino. but raised in Brunei. so Football is my Life. ahaha
Grew up watching The Red Devils i.e Manchester United. Forever a United Fan.
mostly played footie in highskool in brunei. came to the phils for college and played keeper and winger for lasale. but never made it to the uaap..
have been watching the Azkals even before they were the azkals. I still remember i think during a Tournament in Brunei 98 or 99. there was a game between the RP Team and Malaysia. Quite a few of us OFWs went to watch that game and man we were so proud that there was a real RP Team . but we were still the minnows of asia back then. so we got thrashed pretty badly.
but right now. i am really thrilled that the Azkals are stepping up to be real Asian Contenders.
thats all! Glory Glory Man United!
and best of all Glory Glory Philippine Azkals!!

Hi guys! Been following football since 10 and even though I don't play it, I still get a kick (pun intended) watching the game. Mostly follow the Barclays Premier League and La Liga because of their fantasy games.
I also collect and sell football cards. If you are interested, hit me up!

Hi there. I'm from Rizal. Recently graduated from UP Diliman. Overall I love watching sports - including football. The miracle at Hanoi made me a football fanatic and an avid Azkals supporter. And surely it helped that UP is also a powerhouse in UAAP footie. I'm also a hardcore Football Manager player since 2011 and a Gunner(Arsenal fan) since 2009. Other teams I support: Germany Villareal (La Liga) HSV (BuLi) Suwon (K League) Sanfrecce Hiroshima (J League)

Maayong adlaw!
Im from Cebu but already based in Toronto. I am a member since 2012 but this is my first post.
I discovered the beautifull game of football watching 1998 worldcup finals between France and Brazil. Instantly, I became a Zidane, and Ronaldo fan. Since no coverage of club football at that time worldcup 2002 is the next football match I saw. I felt bad at that time becaus Zidane is injured and France had a terrible tournament but I was amazed with the Brazilian trio; Ronaldo, Rivaldo, and Ronaldinho.
Because of Zidane, Ronaldo, and Beckham I followed Real Madrid, and later on Barcelona, and Chelsea in EPL. Aside from Cebu Queen City United FC, I also like Global fc in UFL in fact their President's cup games in Cebu is the last football match I attended.
I never had a chance to play the game because I am the only who like it among friends but I've been following the national team since Chad Gould era, then to the Younghusbands... win or lose.
Im so glad that football interest in Philippines is progressing and hopefully even further..
Long live Philippine football!!!

Hey guys mh11 here, half Filipino living in NYC. I've been playing football since I was three. I speak french, so if you need translations just tell me. My favorite teams are Chelsea in England, Marseille in France and Loyola Meralco Sparks in the Philippines. I've been interested in the Azkals since stumbled upon their Wikipedia page while procrastinating a project in 2008 or so.
