At this time JdJ is on a plane traveling to the Philippines. Great news, as I have not yet heard any confirmation if Juani will be available(or I just haven't looked hard enough) for all or some of the games. At least we know the CM/DM/HM position is covered.
Bad news: I've been notified that Jason is now clubless.
Good news: He's open to planting roots in the Philippines. Can you say "welcome to the UFL" Jason? I wouldn't be surprised if he or a team makes a surprise announcement before or maybe after the June games.

I would like him to play for the Stallions just so skills between the teams will be more spread out. I'd hate to see a league with 2-3 great teams and the rest as garbage, ala La Liga. But, can you imagine his crazy borderline tackles and the Stallions already aggressive play? Only thing is if the Stallions have enough cash to sign a guy like him.

Juani will be available for the friendlies, Wiking. Haven't you checked his Twitter?
Yeah, Ayr United has financial problems of their own so only a free transfer, which is now possible, will let JdJ get back to them. However, they just recently been relegated back to the Scottish 2nd Division after failing to win both legs of the relegation playoffs a few weeks ago. So chances are narrow.
Well, the UFL will be a great opportunity for him. I have been contacting Coach Ernie Nierras a few days back, and he has been insisting on getting him for the Stallions, if not for the offer from Scotland. They already have the sponsorship money to support JdJ while in here, although not as high as he gets in Europe. However, he's giving us a tip that JdJ might open a business here, so let's see.

In an interview early 2011, JdJ did mention opening a business in the Philippines. I would like to see him in Stallions pink & black rather than Globe, Kaya or LMS just so the league will be sort of equal too. Its too bad about Rufo(for Stallions), I think a few clubs have out bidded them for his services, at least from what I've been told, though the "bidding" is not yet over. Thanks for the info on Juani, I've just been back 2-3 days ago so I'm still cartching up

I agree Wiking. If DeJong will play for UFL, it would be nice to see him play outside the big 3. But if plays for Stallions, he need to be based in Visayas where the team is based.right? Will that be OK for him? Nomads can be a good club, Im not sure if Nomads can afford him.

If he's playing in the UFL, it will most likely be with Stallion.

JdJ is flying back to the Netherlands tomorrow midnight. I am still thinking if he would still be looking to his status at Ayr United if they would still offer him a contract since he's already free agent. But maybe, just maybe, he is just lurking in on a transfer to Stallion in a few months' time. Let's see then.

I hope he would, but looking at Ayr U's roster which is full of Scots and one or two Irish or English players, why would they get a Dutch youth player? As for the UFL & Stallions a friend has sent me this: "noconfirmation yet bro...but looks like the other teams are hands off on him"

As for the UFL & Stallions a friend has sent me this: "noconfirmation yet bro...but looks like the other teams are hands off on him" I wondered that too. Ayr Utd just got relegated back to the Scottish 2nd Division after their mediocre season at the 1st div. So I'm already thinking that, if JdJ would have been there, the club would have been strengthened IMHO. JdJ could have been a "thorn among the roses" because he's Dutch and he's Asian, and his maturing (note: maturing) play could have been a factor for Ayr U to survive 1st Division. ;D Well, I think Ernie N.'s lips is still sealed for this. But I am around 70-30 about his chances to enter the UFL.

Btw, Ernie is on a hiring spree. He's asked me about Wilbert Latoy(from our profile section) and his friend, they've arranged a July date for their tryout. I was going to recommend Theo van Linden but Theo was convinced to stay in Belgium. Anyway, I know JdJ is going back to the Netherlands soon so if he signs, it should be at this time(before the Stallions sign more players and run out of money).
