In answer to your question in the modern era, that would be Ray who played in the UEFA Cup. He might not have been part of the Azkals yet at that time, but he was also a Pinoy since birth since he was born in the Philippines and spent the first 8 years of his life in Cebu.
As for the very first Southeast Asian ever, that would be Manuel Amechazurra, who played in the Pyrenees Cup from 1910-14. Look it up in the legends forum.
Now if you rephrase your question, who is the first Azkal(national team player) to participate in a Euro continental club competition, that would indeed be Paul Mulders.

I want to see him play along side Schrocky in Midfield.. Maybe a diamond 4-4-2 with Schrocky playing as holding midfielder and Paul M. as attacking Mid.. Manny Ott should start from the bench, he's still 19 and he'll get more playing time in the future.. In the games against Sri Lanka, it could have been better if weiss kind of tested Schrock-Mulders-COMBO in Midfield and put manny instead in the LWB position but he didn't..

manglando: Soccer is very much alive in our city. We normally play seven aside and futsal due to limited space to play on. This summer, the kids attend the sessions about 30 hrs a week but comes schools days it will be cut in 1/2 since they go to different school.
