As confirmed during the press conference earlier today, Angel Guirado is out due to his injury he sustained in the Singapura friendly.
As for Ian Araneta, to borrow a term from the pigskin sport, he is a game-time decision.

INJURED Aly Borromeo (DF, Captain/Skipper) Cause: Tore an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) on his right leg during a Kaya FC club fixture against Diliman FC during the United Football League Cup on 15 October 2011 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium. 1st photo shows Aly on the side of the pitch with Jason Sabio after the moment of injury. See how red and swollen the knee is. Duration of recovery: Will take at least 5 months to recover, longer if unforseen problems arise (full tear of ligament is discovered, other corresponding injuries occur). Current condition: This is a photo of Aly on crutches on a McDonalds event on 18 Oct 2011.
Aly is currently under physical therapy.
Aly's latest message via Twitter: "Goal is to get to 60 deg today!
Side note: Borromeo previously had a similar injury back in 2007 while competing in the AFF Championships, but was able to play in the 2008 AFC Challenge Cup in Iloilo and in the 2008 AFF Qualifiers in Cambodia.
A similar knee injury was sustained by fellow player Anton del Rosario when he sprained his medial collateral ligament (MCL) during a club practice. He was sidelined for weeks and was not able to participate in the Long Teng Cup and the international friendlies against Singapore and Nepal. He came back during the Kaya vs Diliman fixture, the same day Aly was injured.
To us at Usapang Football, get well soon Capitan Aly.

Duration of recovery: Will take at least 5 months to recover, longer if unforseen problems arise (full tear of ligament is discovered, other corresponding injuries occur).
Current condition: Admitted on hospital, undergoing medical check-up by Dr. Mark Castro, according to Kaya FC manager Armand del Rosario. Surgery schedule and extent will be announced once the medical bulletin shall be released.
Aly, through the Kaya FC Twitter, says "he will be back stronger than ever and thank you for prayers."
Side note: Aly actually had been sidelined for the same injury in 2006 after he sustained it during a match against Malaysia in the 1st 8 minutes of the fixture. He was sidelined for 6 months. He returned for the 2008 AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers.

he can ask jacques van bossche for advice, jacques had the same injury 2 years ago after being tackled directly on his knee , he had an operation where they replaced the torn ligament . it took him 6 months to be back, but has no problems at all from it . i hope he has a doctor who knows his job and a good fysiotherapist to help him come back .
