I've passed NLEX and I saw that this they work with this project day and night. I hope ipagamit sa Azkals yan for 2014 AFC Challenge Cup. I hope they open it ahead on schedule. I don't have info when will they open it. The only thing I know is it must be ready before July 27, 2014.

Latest update on PA and the rest of the infrastructure for this project as of June 5. Certainly fast paced. What's the capacity of NEU Sport Complex? I'm assuming that that's the football pitch From what I read its between 30K to 50K. No official confirmation yet as to its capacity. Apparently, all major infrastructure are under construction and everything is on schedule.

Apparently, all major infrastructure are under construction and everything is on schedule. I think you're talking about Philippine Area and not the NEU Sport Complex. Philippine Area (Dome) is for indoor activities and doesn't include football. However, NEU Sport Complex is where football matches can be played. Someone told be that the capacity is 10K but not sure if that's FIFA standard.

It's impossible for the NEU Sports Complex to be 10k seating capacity. With the pictures posted, I think it's 30 to 50k. That's FIFA standard capacity but if not FIFA standard, it might reack 60-70k. That's my guess Since a lot of INC members will flock there for their 100th anniversary on July 27, 2014. No official announcement yet for NEU Sports Complex seating capacity.

I really hope that NEU Sport Complex will have at least 20k seating capacity. However, it really doesn't matter how huge the seating capacity is as long as its within FIFA standard. We can have a 30k to 50k capacity but if it doesn't comply with the FIFA standard. Then, we won't be able to use it for in any FIFA sanctioned matches.

Got this from skyscraper city and credit goes to captainpinoy and to the YT video owner.
It says from this report that the stadium is olympic size and it has 20K capacity and that its completion date is the same as the PA which is Feb Jan 2014.
The report also says they hired the same landscape architect as the 9/11 memorial.
They also obtained the permits for the exit/entry to/from NLEX.

Based on pic above, I think it could accomodate 30000 to 50000 people but they said its 20000 ouch XD Well congrats for new stadium but I think that capacity is not enough to accomodate people who will watch Azkals game there someday. Why can't they raise it just like the Philippine Arena for basketball from 55k to 75k if that proposal to increase is pushes through ?
