i think with growing popularity of the Azkals the interest in UFL will increase too add the fact that the UFL all stars beat the Azkals in a friendly game.. how many teams will participate in each division as well as what are the teams will participate?
Kaya Cignal Fc signed the Fil-am duo of defender Jason Sabio and midfielder and goal scorer from sri lanka game Nate Burkey this is only notable transferthis off season.
will the Younghusband brothers will play for San Beda FC and San Beda FC will play in division 1?
talk about the UFL season 2011-2012 here..

San Beda on UFL? Im hoping to get more info/updates on this league. Last update I got, they will add more teams on the 1st division, Nomads FC will be promoted and they are cooking something about TV. With TV coverage we can follow this league more. The Jason Sabio & Nate Burkey signing for KAYA is something new. I like the idea on that to level the game coz from what I see, Global FC kinda have the edge right now.
Im not sure if this is accurate, I read on a thread that there are teams that would be on the UFL CUP but they will not be on the UFL league? The UFL cup should be composed of all teams on the 1st & 2nd division.
Some of us in this forum used to talk about the Azkals years back, and we felt like we are the only ones talking about them coz the whole island is not interested, look at where they are now. I hope we can do the same for our UFL.
I would love to add more on this thread, I just dont know where to start, no source of news. UFL page itself is not updated. Any UFL people in this forum? Any new updates for us?

I think airing the game will be the key on this league. Without TV this league will not grow. Once they air the games, people will start talking about the league.

ufl has a show in studio 23. pero usually game highlights and player profiles. maganda sana kung live yung matches and also they need more venues kasi bugbog na yung field. especially sa umak, pag umulan tapos sobrang putik nagiging violent yung laro.

2nd PSE Futsal Cup showcases football talents of listed firms
A composite team from Meralco, I. Ackerman & Co., and the Philippine Stock Exchange claimed the championship in the 2nd PSE Futsal Cup held over the weekend in Libis, Quezon City. First runner-up was ATR Kim Eng Securities.
Ranel Padon, one of two guest players of the champion team was named most valuable player while teammate Carlo Capacillo of Ackerman won the special award for scoring the most goals.
Areson Cuevas coached PSE Team B while Jaime Lopez was mentor of ATR Kim Eng. Paul Rafael was best defender and Patrick Maramara was best goalkeeper. Both Rafael and Maramara were both on the ATR Kim Eng team.
Randy Roxas, a former member of the men’s national football team, played for ATR Kim Eng.
Roxas is also one of the backers of the country’s Homeless World Cup team and of the Loyola Meralco Sparks, a member-club of the United Football League (UFL).
Petron Corp., with Freddie Daulat as coach, emerged as second runner-up, edging out International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) which settled at fourth place. ICTSI had Arthur Tabuena as coach.
The 2nd PSE Futsal Cup saw the participation of 8 teams which fielded a total of 92 players from two trading participants and seven listed firms. The PSE had two teams.
Among the listed firms that competed were PLDT-Smart, ABS-CBN and Manila Water Company. Actor-model Jake Cuenca played on the ABS-CBN futsal team.
Smart Communications is helping the Philippine Football Federation form a Philippine Premier League and has committed to invest P80 million to develop football nationwide. Meralco has a football team in the UFL, the Loyola Meralco Sparks FC.
Cignal TV, another Manuel V. Pangilinan-run company — like Meralco, PLDT and Smart — is also in the UFL via Kaya Cignal FC, the mother team of current national team players Aly Borromeo, Anton del Rosario, Phil Younghusband and James Younghusband. — VS, GMA News

Im waiting Global FC's player movement, will they sign new players this year? Anybody knows how many foreigner a team can sign for the team roster?and how many can play at one ime? do they have a rule on this?
