at least they will have money there even though they lose But experience is important for these. They'll play S League teams. So they will play Singapore NT players in their respective teams. By the way, is LMS only the invited team outside Singapore or there's other Asian Teams? Bangkok Glass (THA) & Harimau Muda B (MAS) are regular invitees of the Singapore Cup. Last season they invited South Melbourne (AUS), Phnom Penh United (CAM), and Okktha United (MYA). Expect strong sides to battle Loyola this time as some of them are invited again for 2012. Exciting times indeed.

Fadzki, more details pls. Failed to watch that match as my son had a tournament today. I've always maintained that refereeing standards in UFL is pretty horrible. Looks like here's another instance of that issue. They better start addressing this problem of refereeing standards, esp as it pertains to violent play, action etc.

Bayona should be disciplined by the disciplinary committee for a closed fist punch on dagroh! Very clear on TV & IN REPLAY! @uflphilippines
A tweet from Mr. Santi Araneta...
both Bayona and Dagroh were going for a header and both went down while trying to stand up dagroh was suddenly punch in the face by Bayona... I guess the referee didn't the punch instead he gave Dagroh the red card...

This is just unacceptable especially from a service man. Teams like PAF, Army and Navy tends to play dirty and unprofessional. Most of their players lack self control.. Pretty ironic huh..

I'd say I blame the referees. I'm really against this biased officiating. If this continues, bad blood can really ensue within the UFL.

There are still many things to improve in UFL. Referees officiating the UFL matches are horrible.

I'f I'm correct one of the referees in the UFL has a last name of Bayona... they must be related or something...

Thanks for the details Fadzki. Isn't there also a referee with last name Bermejo, any relation also to the player with the same last name?
I could live with bad calls as it pertains to offsides, they are difficult to catch but the referees have to be more firm and consistent with rough play, violent and malicious tackles/actions. For that matter so should the football hierarchy. They need to learn to control matches in terms of how players behave on the field. Allowing to let players do as they please when they lose their cool and indulge in dangerous play will not help them in their development.

oh man, Pasilan is a revelation. he didn't start this season but now he has had 9 goals 1 goal over Araneta and Lee. good addition from GAU during the transfer window. this guy is very fast, give him a perfect through ball and he will definitely score a goal.
also Deyto, this young goalie maybe stands around 6'2-6'3, has the built for this position. he is now the 1st choice keeper for the GAU. back-up keeper Villaflor was recently included of the National team's training pool but is relegated as a 2nd choice keeper when Deyto was picked-up during the transfer window

I've heard of players getting red cards after the match has ended (post match brawls). Of course, it would no longer have an effect on the game, but the cards are purely for disciplinary action (suspensions). Kaya should probably appeal for Dagroh's card and in turn the UFL would review the incident, and hopefully do something about Bayona.

So this was what Santi Araneta was tweeting about yesterday, you have an idea where this will be and when they can start using this?

Santi Araneta @santiaraneta It's amazing to be a partner of Megaworld! Mckinley Hill Field will be the home of the UFL in October! #philippinefootballisheretostay
yeahboy! great that UFL has now what it can call home... still need to work on the officiating though...
