Jason Webb mentioned on TV that some players playing in the UFL are payed like PBA players, It may not be like the top PBA players like "James Yap" but their contract looks decent, that excludes endorsements.

From what I know, since it's officially a semi-professional league, they don't officially get salaries.
What they get an "allowance".
For them to get "salaries", clubs would probably have to be registered as a commercial entities or whatever. Its players would need to be "employees", with the social security, labour unions and stuff. I think all that is a big headache especially that Philippine club football is in its infancy.

PBA rookies are paid ranging from 80k with 150k tops! Valuable Players are paid 300k - 400k tops Imports more or less 600k per month. for UFL i have NO idea, yeah and i heard some players do not have salaries but allowances.

Does anyone know how much foreign players are getting paid, I'd be interested in playing for the 2013 season, however I would not be able to play just on allowance. The average work month from where I am from brings about 100,000+ in peso, plus I have a family and in my opinion for a foreigner to play soccer in a different country it would seem that anything less then 150k peso is not really worth it. So if someone has an approximate figure I would appreciate it. TIA

wow pal talking about confidence, maybe if u can show 1 ala C.Ronaldo trademark free kick outside the box against a players wall or 1 of the messi`s lightning speed ball handling against 2 defenders or any of the zidane playmaking smartness . then maybe mr. dan palami will be impressed but then again, easier said than done. Most players here have day jobs. Even the first division players have day jobs. If you can find a good job here, I'm sure you could balance out work and practice. That is if a team finds you good enough. What is your background?
