^ then i think you won the bet. air force won in the same fashion that philippines trampled the proud vietnamese squad during the 2010 suzuki cup. altho loyola was relentless on their attacks, air force defense was more solid than the great wall of china. tats mercado displayed awesome goalkeeping and yanti bersales played like he wasn't that old. iba talaga pag may conditioning discipline ang players. mas may energy at mas mataas ang stamina. air force proved that it's not about the age nor the height that matters in the pitch. they just played great football and loyola was just blanked out. zilched. zeroed - UFL's no. 1 attacking team failed to win over a superbly defended air force side.

I think i will go with the Reigning Champion, Phil. Air Force FC, because even though the players were aging, they're incredible especially their Chemistry and Experience... and of course because of "Speedy" Chieffy Caligdong and the ageless Yanti Barsales..

air force...composed, cohesive and experienced (old?) team!! already placed my bet on them, not much but its hard-earned moolah. I think their "oldness" won them the UFL Cup. They're more experienced and have cooler heads. Meralco, on the other hand, have several hot-headed players like Phil Younghusband and the Hartmans. People say that they feel like they're superstars. If you look at real superstars who play in top-level European leagues, they're even more humble than some of the local players. Although I think that if a well-skilled team composed of younger players have Air Force's professionalism and patience, they would have beaten Air Force.

I must say all the teams are doing great both 1st Division and 2nd Division teams. I go for Kaya FC for the 1st Division 'coz they play good defense. They are the best defensive team in the UFL not until they lost to Global FC last saturday (I suppose). Cebu Queen City United FC for the 2nd Division, not only 'coz they are Cebuanos but they actually played better compared to last seasons. Good scouting as well for Coach Mike Ceniza. Keep it up guys! Go Cebuanos! Go Pilipinas!
