Lyngby crush on CagaraDennis Cagara played Sunday's second test match in Lyngby. The royal has come up with positive feedback to the feedback. Brian Hamalainen is shifted to Belgian Zulte-Waregem, and yet have Lyngby not found a replacement at left-back. We have previously tested the Brazilian Leonardo, and the last week or so has Dennis Cagara then been to find the club. The experienced back who was last in Randers, played on Wednesday with courage Prediction, and yesterday he was so 90 minutes in 4-2-victory over FC Zealand. Here, so that a Cagara in excellent form throughout the whole match there were air to overlap the left edge - I made some stupid mistakes at first, but I think the game got me up during the match. I am well pleased with the effort and think that I was shown some of the things I can say Cagara to bold.dk. Yet there is no clarification on whether Cagara gets contract with the royal blue, but the feedback has been good. - I have trained very well and has received very positive feedback from coach and sports director. So I hope that something happens within a few days, says Cagara. 26-year-old Cagara has represented besides Randers FC, FC Nordsjælland, Dynamo Dresden, Hertha Berlin and Brondby. www.bold.dk/nyt/Lyngby-lune-paa-CagaraPOSITIVE RESULTS for Dennis, hopefully he'll get a contract.

Dennis Cagara signs with Lyngby Boldklub by John Paul Manahan on July 14, 2011 Dennis Cagara
Fil-Danish defender Dennis Cagara finally has a club to play for this coming season. After leaving Randers due to said team's relegation this past season, he has agreed to join Lyngby BK for the upcoming autumn season of the Danish Superliga. Dennis passed a medical with the team after participating in the training matches in the offseason.
Lyngby Sport Chief Birger Jorgensen said that Dennis is a good fit with the team given their style of play.
The club finished 8th last season in the Superliga and is aiming for the championship that might possibly net the club an automatic slot into the Group Stages of the UEFA Champions League next season if the current UEFA standings hold. One of the teams battling them for that is AGF Aarhus, which is where Jerry Lucena plays his club football.
Unlike Lucena, who has already played for the national team, Dennis has not been able to play for the Azkals yet. As per a tweet from Ace Bright, he has already indicated that he'll be unavailable for the WCQ vs Kuwait. This comes as Lyngby BK will have a fixture on July 24, 2011 against SønderjyskE
--------------------------------------- welcome development, at least he already have a club now. Lets just wait for his PH NT debut.

finally Cagara signs with Lyngby Boldklub using google translate : Lyngby websitelyngby-boldklub.dk/Nyheder/A-Truppen/Lyngby_Boldklub_skriver_kontrakt_med_Dennis_Cagara/______________________________________ Lyngby FC signs contract with Dennis CagaraWritten by Kenneth Stricker, Wednesday 13th July 2011 Lyngby FC and Dennis Cagara has today made a contract valid for autumn 2011. 26-year-old Dennis Cagara got his breakthrough in Danish football when he in 2003 made his debut for Brøndby IF just as 17-year-old, before he switched to German Hertha Berlin. Dennis was part of the incredibly strong 1985 vintage in Brondby, which include speaking players like Johan Absalonsen, Kasper Lorentzen and Niki Zimling. "Dennis Cagara has done well in recent weeks for training, as well as in training matches where he has participated, and we have rewarded him with a contract. Dennis fits well into our style of play, in addition, so have the routine as we tried, and since he has not played so many matches at a high level over the past year, we have therefore started with a contract valid for the autumn season, but renewable ", says sports chief Birger Jorgensen. "I'm really pleased that the agreement was finalized, and that now I can once again be allowed to play Premier League football and will be allowed to assist the club in the next half season and hopefully beyond. I'm really hungry to get started again after my injury break, so I am naturally pleased that I now get the chance to show what I can, at the highest level ", says the Cagara itself. Dennis Cagara have apart from 74 Super League matches, including 42 youth national team at all national teams from U16-U21 and 59 matches in the German first soccer series, with a total of 10 goals on his résumé. Dennis Cagara get in Lyngby jersey No. 2

Dennis must be pretty desperate to accept only a half season contract. I guess his history of injuries scared a lot of clubs from even considering him and his current club Lyngby is basically giving him half the season to prove himself before signing him long term.
Anyways its good he found a club at the highest level in Denmark, which is equivalent to Bundesliga 2. It will keep him playing at a high level and long term will be beneficial to our team.

Congratulations to Dennis! Getting signed on to any club at this stage is quite a feat. The half-year contract is indeed likely due to his history of injuries, but I hope it also includes bonuses for playing time or not being injured. With that situation it would be difficult to justify playing for the Azkals. At least in the short term. Wishing him well, and hope that he remains healthy enough in the future to take that next step of donning the PHL uniform.

INCOMING: Danish Left Back Dennis Cagara to Toronto FC or Chivas USA?
POSTED BY LENNY LAYMON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 21ST, 2011 AT 8:03 AM
While he turned down a contract with both for reasons of wanting to stay near his family, the transfer window is closed throughout much of Europe and he may look differently at those two offers if he remains unsigned. The club he trialed with in Denmark turned him down.
Here is a rough Danish to English translation of an article on Tips Blaudet
Dennis Cagara yesterday trialed in a test match for OB’s (Odense Boldkub’s) reserves, but Odense will not sign a club contract with the left back who already has turned down two offers from the U.S..
Dennis Cagara left AGF in summer, but he never found a new club before he got a serious injury in the Achilles tendon. He continues to trial at Brondby and hopes to find himself a new club.
The market is difficult, but Cagara received yesterday an opportunity to show off for OB, which lacks a backup to Chris Sorensen. So Dennis Cagara attended in a test match for OB’s reserves which lost 2-0 to FC Zealand. OB has already decided that Cagara not being contracted to the club.
- The possibility of OB is closed now. They are uncertain about where I stand after my injury. They know me already, but they wanted is not two weeks before the tournament start to write a contract with a player who has not played games this season. I can easily play and my physique is good, but my fighting form is obviously not quite straight, “says Dennis Cagara to tipsbladet.dk.
Had 26-year-old Cagara had the courage for an adventure in the American Major League Soccer, he could well have been on contract in the States now. He has said no to both Chivas USA and Toronto FC.
- Chivas USA was interested for a week or so ago, and Toronto FC would like to have me in their training camp in Turkey, but I chose to say no, because I want to stay in Europe so I can be close to my family in Denmark he says.

Old article. He signed a 1 year contract with Lyngby. He has started all of their games so far, which is 3, hehe. But looks like his career is finally on the right track again. In the first game they played against Jerry Lucenas club. This weekend he started against HB Køge.
