Bio Jose Ariston Caslib (nickname: Aris) is a former manager of the Philippine national football team. He is currently coach of Mendiola United F.C. Caslib has also been the head coach of the Seniors' Football team of San Beda College, the Red Booters. They won the NCAA championship for the 8 straight seasons after sweeping the competition, and in October 2008 became UNIGAMES champions. Caslib managed the Philippines squad which competed at the 2007 ASEAN Football Championship. After qualifying for the finals, where the team could only manage one draw and two losses, Caslib quit the national team in February 2007.
Pissed: Kahit gustuhin natin makabuo ng team, hindi pa pwede for now dahil sa UAAP season. Surely Gayoso will join the selection, pero ang ibang UAAP players need to be cleared. Hopefully the NCAA based players are ready. Passports is another issue.

truman: Unpopular opinion: Global FC should just stick with youth football. Build up your club again (and also reputation) dont force yourselves to join the league.

BoyBacolod: The Iloilo Provincial government need to get their act together. Now the Neg. Occ. government is at full support of football, especially the vice-governor, who was mayor of San Carlos, another football hotbed, who might be governor in July.

BoyBacolod: With the Visayas making a name for itself in football,it really puts a dent on 'Imperial Manila' basketball mentality. Better football facilities, and the Visayan cities can make a name for themselves internationally.

BoyBacolod: NCR had for so long relied on Palaro players from provinces to boost their lineups. It is high time that VISAYAS should own football. In Negros I think it will a step closer since the vice-governor running for the top post is a football supporter.
