China might have height but they can be easily be beaten by smaller teams from Europe, African (i.e Angola) and Americas (esp Puerto Rico).
Middle East teams, Jordan at Qatar (out na ang Lebanon, rebuilding sila) lang naman ang magaling dun, mas nakakatako pa nga Korea sa kanila eh. Dont pry, we beat those teams once in awhile.
Anyway, be patient i takes you 4-6 years to build a strong NT program sa basketball. Ang Iran, they invested in their youth team, kaya dominated nila yun Asia these days. Ngayon lang nag ka tamang program for basketball and hopefully lalo pang mapapaganda un programa for basketball.

no one can deny that these Fil-fors have filipino and some other nationality in them since they grew up in other country although its stupid to make a rift between them and other pinoys.

I messaged him last April and asked him if he's interested in playing for the Philippines and he said it would be a great opportunity. In my reply, I asked him if he knows Gino Pavone since they played in the same club during the same period. I even informed him that his teammate Julian de Guzman is part Filipino as well. But unfortunately, up until now he's not responding. I informed admin Louie about it and he said that he will have a word with Demitrius. I don't know what happened next. Perhaps admin Louie can enlighten us about it. well his profile in wikipedia said that his mom born in the states, that makes her not a pinay when Demetrius was born unless she is a holder also of Filipino passport during that time or Demetrius was born before she reached the age of 18.

well this indonesian team faced those powerhouses without Irfan Bachdim and Cristian Gonzales, most likely we faced a tougher Indonesian side in the Suzuki cup.

in that case capitalism and commercialism would be a double-edged sword after reading such open minded views here Well when 90's-00's era came to our country it was also the heyday of the asian financial crisis, since sport development here in the PHL would always rely on corporate backer since our government would always that we don't have enough funds. With that, companies would transfer their funding for advertising to a much available market. I see why a lot of small leagues which are not yet developed to the professional level would die. Nice to see a resurgence in the different sports yet a full backing of the government would definitely increase our chances for success. A good example would be the Athletics program during 70's-80's of president Marcos, they produced legends like Lydia de Vega and etc. I like that different news outlets are having their own sports channel or a serious sports division, it did wonders for the Azkals but too much of it is quite "nakaka-suka".A lot news today totally irrelevant to sport and sometimes dwell on such petty issue.

well this only proves that the team needs to focus more on their NT duties (by attending more practice) rather than their other extra curricular activities.
