Apparently they did sent a protest and asked for a reveiw, but the AIBA did not even entertain a review. I guess we do not have to pull to warrant a review.

Johniel Casimero retains his IBF junior flyweight belt over unbeaten Mexican challenger Guevarra in Mexico. Fortunately, there was no recurrence of the riot that occurred in Argentina the last time he fought.

Nonito Donaire solidifies his place as a top player in the super bantamweight division by a win over Japanese opponent Toshiaki Nishioka via a 9th round TKO. Clearly dominant and prepared enough to counter Nishioka's attack.

The fight was a little boring as Nishioka refused to exchange and hid behind his guard most of the fight until the 6th round when he decided to open up a bit and promptly got knocked down for his troubles. Nishioka went back to survival mode the next round until the 9th round when his attempt to exchange was punished with another knockdown. I hope Nonito fights Rigondeaux or Mares next. Their fans need to be taught a lesson in respect.

Quite expected the sixth round loss. Manny have been overpowered by JuanMa since the third round. Thinking that this might be an indication that he should retire sooner than later, don't you think?
...and should we now start to focus on other sports now, football for instance?

Thinking that this might be an indication that he should retire sooner than later, don't you think? ...and should we now start to focus on other sports now, football for instance? What are you talking about? Despite the third round knockdown, Manny was winning the fight and had Marquez in trouble with a busted nose. Manny became too overconfident in trying to finish Marquez off, leaving himself wide open to a perfect right from Marquez, and paid the price. Boxing is a combat sport and this type of thing can happen to the best. Both Arum and Manny are talking about the possibility of a fifth bout now. Manny probably feels he can still win and I personally believe he still can, although I am not sure his family will allow him to continue. As for boxing, we still have Donaire and it will always be a sport close to our heart after the numerous champions we have had through the decades and the sport that has probably given the country the most recognition worldwide. There is room for more than one sport in the country and football should be one of them. But boxing will always hold a special place in every Filipino's heart giving us the most Olympic medalists and world champions in our sporting history.

We cannot expect Manny Pacquiao to win every game and every fight! Everyone has to have successes and failures. Manny is not a SUPERHERO!!! He is just like all of us. He has his personal life, own issues and trials he has to face each day. He has done enough by making the Philippines /Filipinos a household name. He has brought so much honor to our country and he does not have to prove how good of a fighter he is each time he has a fight. Manny has already proven himself a long time ago. True! He has been careless and over confident in his latest fights but who are we to blame him? We are not the ones who put drastically long hours for training? We are not the ones inside the ring getting all the punches? We are not the one who's taking the heat and getting all the pressure. Pressure from everyone, pressure from his country, pressure from his countrymen and pressure from u and me. We need to stop bashing Manny about his politics, his religion and his life. It is his life and not ours! Its just disappointing to see Filipinos suddenly talking smack about their champ now that he has lost some few fights compared to how many he has won?
best message in fb tapos na guys ang boxing win loose or draw WE ARE STILL PROUD Manny
