Let's face it, we need Nike or Adidas.. Nike or Adidas means better distribution, more advertising -> more income -> more money to invest in Philippine football. (Stadiums, youth development,...) Adidas and Nike are huge companies, a million $ or € loss, doesn't mean a lot to them.
Both companies have been accused of child labor, if Nike or Adidas want to defend themselves from those allegations, they can do a promotional stunt in the Philippines which means good public relations for Adidas or Nike and more income for Philippine football.
I know I sound like all I think of is money, but what Philippine football needs now IS money, you can't doubt that fact.

I think that the logical choice would be Adidas because we are already receiving German support. A German brand would be the natural choice.

The Bleachers Brew site has the kit for the Kia Rio Cup friendly.

In Mexico in the last years we have had the two big ones (and the Mexican Atletica that's dying slowly :/)... I can say I don't particulary like any of both, all Mexico kits being best sellers were all over the place so I don't have that many complains about that, both are good options, but I find them really overpriced. North Korea's outfitter is Legea - Italian company that doesn't have a presence in NoKor. But were/are they under contract? maybe North Korea's gov's the one buying them, I remember them in their friendly agaisnt us here in Mexico and they wore Mexican brand Pirma generic kits: So I guess they just buy generic kits and patch them their flag. By the way, why would anyone sponsor NK? Can they sell their shirts there? Can anyone buy them? Or maybe they were looking for some facilities for a factory there... LOL You could also consider Spanish Joma (even thought they do some ugly designs for my taste, but they could do an effort thinking in a expansion there): or why not consider Chinese Li Ning, I've read comments by Spaniards saying that the quality of the shirts is not as cheap as it looks: Let's face it, we need Nike or Adidas.. Nike or Adidas means better distribution, more advertising -> more income -> more money to invest in Philippine football. (Stadiums, youth development,...) Adidas and Nike are huge companies, a million $ or € loss, doesn't mean a lot to them. But the distribution and advertising doesn't really affect (at least not directly) the PFF's income but the one of the brand, Nike/Adidas/whatever offers some money and some other things (in Mexico, Nike offered more money than Adidas, but Adidas offered them train in their training centers in Germany and friendlies with other Adidas sponsored teams)... but seeing that Mizuno didn't do a great job it would a risky desition for Nike/Adidas (I guess they wouldn't offer that much) and they would better wait for how well a more serious minnow does.

@mikelimpag: - ...Mizuno's contract is over. Azkals, I think, will be wearing "colorum" uniforms. Unless Dan has finalized the deal with new outfit
-... That's because Mizuno failed to provide for fans, so Class A jerseys are a hit. New deal should be out in March
-... Don't think there will be new deal for Malaysia friendly, or even Challenge Cup

As far as I know, Li Ning is the largest sub-contrator of Nike and Adidas in Asia. I think Joma is a sub-contractor for Puma in Eastern Europe (correct me if I'm wrong)... Well as you can see, smaller manufacturers are also tied with these big names, so what can we do about it? Well, why not try local brands? Why not they try tapping Accel, which is an established brand popular among basketball players, especially the PBA, although they make soccer kits as well. They have a very good presence in the country and their prices are affordable yet competitive. They also have good marketing (just look at PBA endorsers for their jerseys). They make good designs as well: Having local brands would greatly contribute in encouraging local entrepreneurs to enlarge their market. And with the popularity of the national team, we have to encourage local development among manufacturers here in the country. And it will save PFF millions of pesos at least for producing these kits, and they might benefit from it as they can become readily available for fans. Although I would still think the PFF would go to the practical solution, for now.

Accel... I've only seen one pair of Accel boots ever!
But if they decide to offer their services, they would have to expand their football product line.

How about either Under Armour or Warrior Sports?

If the "outfitter" only provides clothes, as in shirt, shorts, and socks, then I'll be okay with Accel if they show that they can provide cold weather gear.
If we urgently need an outfitter, sige na nga, I'll be fine with Adidas.
But I won't be surprised if come the next international friendly, they would already have a new outfitter.

Those kits we are sporting in the UAE are embarassing. How will they take our national team seriously. Any news if we will have an outfitter for Malaysia and the CC?
I don't want those big matches coming up and Asia will see us wearing those shirts not worthy of a National Team.
And please ABS these aren't NBA teams please stop putting the monicker after the country. We'd be laughed at if we talked that way with other footballing nations. I also cringe at the way Azkals are used nowadays, I used to love the nickname somehow that's changed

A new outfitter is really needed and Mizuno should be out of the context as they failed not only in their sales (as they can't give to the demands of the fans especially in Cebu) but also in providing the 'Little Azkals' and the 'Teen Azkals' such as travelling bags, jackets, training jerseys and backpacks. The AFC was the one who is kind enough to give the national teams their backpacks, jackets and caps.

I don't care how many people like the Azkals monicker so much, but please, what the hell am I seeing on TV?
The national team participating in international friendlies with a kit that looks like it was bought in Divisoria is just embarrassing. Also, no one cares if Nike or Adidas uses slave labor, Apple's supplier had suicides, but everyone loves Apple, because they provide good products. So if Nike or Adidas provide well, why not? You don't need to be hipster and go for the obscurity of say, Legea or Accel. Pffft.
Heck kids in high school have better shirts made for their intrams compared to our national team.
And I don't care if international media uses the Azkals monicker, because its not like they have much of a choice since they'll just follow whatever local press calls em. Bleah, give me my professional looking team now so I can throw my money at Nike at Adidas for all that gear. Seriously, the football shirt is an essential part of football culture, and I wouldn't be caught dead wearing anything that says Azkals.
I can't believe that no one is making a decent offer to equip the team, buti pa basketball teams always in healthy stock sa Nike/Adidas. Either that or the people who should be affixing their signatures are too slow, or really just want to milk every baduy penny out of the "brand". Seriously.

If NT kits aren't available yet, it would be better for the team to use the practice jerseys sans the Azkals name and logo... they look like a club team. I recall they've used practice jerseys for their 2nd round world cup qualifier match build up in Bahrain using the all blue kit and with the Philippine flag only on their shirt... that's presentable. Hope that's what they use instead in the future.
