And one more thing... why don't kits have player names on them anymore?

the malditas are apparently donning under armour kits nowadays. can this be a sign? i think puma is the one really aggressively moving to clinch the deal to clothe the azkals. they're the only apparel maker w/ a conspicuous full sized ad in the souvenir magazine they gave away at half time last night. let's see how they fare when the bidding process is over and done with soon

And one more thing... why don't kits have player names on them anymore? From my observation, Most friendly matches in the world don't usually need names. I think its only because "there is no need of recognition for a player by name". They only put names in FIFA competitions (Asian Cup, World Cup something like that) were there are group stages or the competition will be quite long (except the WCQ) Because there, There are awards given like golden boot and golden glove were player names are shown.

Yup, in official tournies they register the player and his respective number, in friendlies they mostly take the one they want, just some NTs do wear names in friendlies (yesterday while Spain, Mexico and Italy with their names in their backs, either USA, Venezuela, Colombia, Honduras or Ecuador did).

If we get puma kits, I hope its something similar to what Italy wore in their friendly against USA.

Thanks for the clarification. So that means our kits have to have names in tournaments like the Challenge Cup and Suzuki Cup? Personally, I like them with names on them. I remember my varsity kit having my name on it and I was thrilled.

Again, I'm intrigued... To be honest, it looks like a basketball jersey... SMART GILAS? ... Especially the patterns on the cloth...

I love the embedded patterns on the blue fabric. I sure hope LGR sells the nameless/numberless replica kits. These look really nice. But I have a feeling this kit will never be sold to the general public.

Hi Caz, I doubt it will be sold by LGR (They can only sell the practice / UAE tour kit.) but I'll double-check. BTW, I completely agree with the embedded patterns, simple pero may dating.

i do agree, it does look like a basketball jersey... maybe the white sleeves are supposed to be longer, something like arsenal but blue.

Contact them on Facebook for the info's about the Azkals kit..

I believe the kit pictured, since it was considered a sneak peek, is a work in progress. The patches aren't sewn on yet and will probably be on the sleeves which aren't even there yet. The white trimming looks like it'll be the the axillary areas. I think these kits will sell well. They should consider it.
