Cj, you might have a point there, though I hope that is not the case.

According to UFL official and team owner Santi Araneta:
"apparently PFF is making a decision whether or not to fire U21 coach Zoran 2nyt. Wish I knew more, I say we give him a chance!"

That would be so dumb if they did! I saw the Singapore game and that was good football. Goodness, what do they expect after a short preparation. That's the reason they got him in the first place in order to develop players. We can't judge him by this tournament alone...

Ok my BAD. After a relook, it was a message from Armand del Rosario, Anton's brother talking to Santi Araneta.
Armand del Rosario:
"apparently PFF is making a decision whether or not to fire U21 coach Zoran 2nyt. Wish I knew more, I say we give him a chance!"
of course its just heresay until something happens, but you are right, one tournament is not long enough to judge a coach. I'd keep him longer and see what he's got.
Remember when I caused a firestorm at the HBT thread, when I said "some things are not going as it should" this could be a result of it. I still wont say what it is, I'll wait to see what happens here first.
Things that are happening goes deeper than what PFF has released thats for sure.

Maybe his short term contract covers only until the end of this tournament. Now they have to make a decision on whether to extend it. It will now depend upon his contract demands and whether they think they can afford it.

With the u21 team's poor showing in the HBT, he won't be able to demand a huge salary from the PFF. However, he was only signed a month before the tournament and was only given weeks to scout for players and form the team. It looks like he was setup to fail If the PFF will let him go, I hope Santi Araneta will hire him and Juan Cutillas can be Tech Director for Kaya (if that position exists in their organization).

any news? is he still going to be the coach? IMO i feel that he should be the youth technical director. he should work on developing players from u13 - u19. that way we would have a bigger pool of technically sound players to choose from.
