Younghusband and Aldeguer-Guirado brothers playing under AZKALS! that's interesting! Aldeguer brothers are older than the Younghusbands, Juan Luis is 31 y.o. while Angel is 26. We know how old the Younghusbands are.

We have 3 sets of brothers, the Younghusbands, the Greatwiches and the Guirados which I think would be great for team chemistry if they all played but would definitely kept the commentators on their toes identifying which players did which. ;D Juan Luis Guirado at 31 is a spring chicken compared to the 38 y/o's we have on our team.

A 31 lefty midfielder is at the peak of his mental skills even though his physical attribute would be going down from there, his mentality (decisions, playmaking, influence, situational awareness, etc.) would only be going up.

we hope that we'll get the services of Juan Luis together with Schrock for WC qualifiers.

According to FM11 ;D. He's naturally a left back, who can also play as a central defender, or as a wingback. He's strong, dominant in the air, & has a thunderous long shot.

I just checked Juan Luis Facebook account again. He has now listed the Azkals as his favorite team and his brother Angel as his favorite player. That wasn't there before the last time I checked prior to the Myanmar games. He is now showing interest and after seeing how much fun Angel has been having with the team, maybe the PFF should contact him for a possible trial like his brother had with the Azkals. He would be a good addition to the team as we have very few left footed players right now plus at 1.91 m tall, we would have another tall player to add to the backline or midfield.

I hope he joins the Azkals, we definitely need quality and depth in that department, especially if we're going to battle with the "big boys" in asia.

This is Juan Luis response to being asked about joining the national team that he wrote on Angel Aldeguer's fanpage:
Apparently he said he is proud of being called in to join the national team of his mother's country. but that his jobs won't allow him to leave at this time even for a few days, but that he will consider it in the future. He appreciates all the interest shown by the Filipino community and wish us success and that the best of the Aldeguer's Angel will provide us many joys.
