FIFA already released on their website the schedule of the group games March 2 - Philippines vs Brunei March 4 - Philippines vs Cambodia March 6 - Philippines vs Turkmenistan Notes: - All games will be held in Manila
- No Time of kick-off yet
- The March 6 game could be the best game since this could also be a revenge game
- We should win these matches as FIFA ranked this as a Continental Qualifier category so this could boost our rankings
FIFA dont mention any venues for AFC Challenge Cup in Philippines. Has it been confirmed that the matches will be played in Manila ?

Hope Neil would be OK by then.. Etheridge is recently injured, view this link : www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/fulham-recall-stockdale/news/anzeigen_108466.htmlBut if he recovered before Jan. 31 deadline submission of Challenge Cup qualifiers roster, he can possibly included and be allowed by Fulham. As they already have Stockdale. It is farfetched that Azkals can get Muller, with 4 wins against 1 loss while tending the post MSV Duisburg he is making a splendid job. . . It is unlikely that he will be released by his team in time of Challenge Cup qualifiers.

We might see Javier Patino by then, but I reckoned if he will be allowed by his club it will only for 1 match. Dates of Challenge Cup qualifiers conflict with Cordoba's matches. . .

Early Challenge Cup buildup for PH AzkalsBy Cedelf P. Tupas Philippine Daily Inquirer 1:24 am | Sunday, December 30th, 2012 THE PHILIPPINE Azkals won’t have much time to lick the wounds of their recent defeat as they plunge back to training Jan. 6 for the AFC Challenge Cup Qualifiers that will be held at Rizal Memorial Stadium in March. Determined to be in top form, the Azkals will have at least two months to prepare for the tournament that serves as the gateway for next year’s final tournament, which will reward the champion with a spot in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup in Australia. The Azkals qualified from the AFF Suzuki Cup’s Group of Death to the semifinals only to drop a 0-1 decision to eventual champion Singapore on aggregate early this month. It was the second straight semifinal appearance for the Azkals, who also reached the last four of the AFC Challenge Cup finals early this year in Nepal. “The year 2012 was a banner year for the team,” said Azkals manager Dan Palami. “There will be plenty of challenges next year. But rest assured, the team will continue to work hard and not letup to give the country a major football title.” “We don’t have much time to mourn because we are already in the middle of preparing for the AFC Challenge Cup,” said Azkals coach Michael Weiss. “It is a tournament for emerging nations in Asia and our goal is to get first place [in the qualifiers] on home soil in order to succeed in 2014 and win the tournament.” Emphasizing the importance of the Challenge Cup, Palami said preparations for the tournament will also include a week-long camp in the Gulf region in February. The Azkals have trained there in the past, preparing for the Suzuki Cup by playing friendly matches against Bahrain and Kuwait. Aside from the topnotch facilities, Palami said the Gulf is an ideal location as the Europe-based players will not have to make a longer trip to link up with the squad, unlike when the camp is held in the Philippines. “We are still hoping to get a federation to host the team so we could save on costs,” said Palami, who hopes to utilize the Feb. 6 friendly date to play an international match in the middle of the camp. sports.inquirer.net/79331/early-challenge-cup-buildup-for-ph-azkals
A possible Gulf Region training is possible as hinted in the article. I think a Middle East country is our opponent for Feb 6 game. Well, in Gulf region, our Euro-based players will probably be available. By the way, Spain and Uruguay's game on Feb 6 will be held in Qatar ;D

Any possibility of a team outside the AFC playing the Philippines at this time?

I hope coaching team will incorporate hard on attacking football this time, now that we are somewhat % stable on our defensive backs. Like relentless attacking football, ManU's style of discipline.

jonny hmm I see, well they should plan to play a team from another confederation like CAF or UEFA, (a country from this confederation which is near the Gulf region) for their Feb 6 game.

jonny hmm I see, well they should plan to play a team from another confederation like CAF or UEFA, (a country from this confederation which is near the Gulf region) for their Feb 6 game. The best African teams will play CAN 2013 , quarterfinals are on Feb 2 , semifinals are on Feb 6. UEFA teams got with few exceptions a friendly on Feb 6 already. Philippines could play a mid level team like Kenya. African teams will travel if Philippines pay all expenses. Could be playing another AFC Challenge Cup team like Tajikistan. Nepal playing Pakistan , India playing Palestine in Feb 6 Maldives and North Korea also available, if they want to go to Middle East. PFF is late with organizing a friendly on Feb 6...

Reading the article it seems like it's just a camp that they're planning for. And that they're looking for a football federation to sponsor them. With that as a mindset, playing some national team may be unlikely especially if the Middle Eastern teams are unavailable.
