I see no point in throwing anyone under the bus .. or wagon for that matter.

Again, I repeat:
What's the point of scoring 1000 goals when your opponent can score 1001 goals against you ;D

What's the point of conceding only 50 goals when you score 25?
BTW, the scoreline read 3-3.

It's at the point where continuity and stability is important, perhaps even more important to the Azkals and the program and the fundraising, than entering the risk of a new coach who may overachieve, but who may also underachieve.
If there was a time to fire Weiss, it would've been after that Mongolia loss. I say wait until the Suzuki Cup and then reassess the situation. Weiss seems to be learning and is backing away from his all-out offense, attack, attack, attack philosophy. He is getting expected results. But I'd rather have a situation where results are exceeding expectations.
As the other poster said, no need to throw him under the bus now.

You can't fire the guy. The German federation pays for his salary. The best we can do is ask for a German replacement, preferably somebody more experienced but it might be too early for that.
Xyz might be right. We might have to wait till the next Suzuki Cup when his contract runs out.

I agree, cjeagle. Realistically, we'll probably have to wait until his contract expires before deciding on changes.

^^^ LOL, then why are you talking about Macca? cjeagle: very much correct on your views there, beggars can't be choosers ;D i am just venting my frustration of watching several winnable AzKals games going south as in snatching draws from the jaws of victory

Again, I repeat: What's the point of scoring 1000 goals when your opponent can score 1001 goals against you ;D Ask Hong Kong. They were up 2 - 0, then ended up behind by 1. They were lucky to have salvaged a tie. Giving up late goals leaves a bad taste in the mouth because it stings bad. The San Jose Earthquakes made a habit of that this season. At the college level, a game between Neil Ignacio's (remember him? ) team and San Jose State University last 9/18/11 ended in a 1-1 tie, after they gave up a goal with 1:32 left in regulation. Their coach was livid!

well you can tell your friends that indonesia is now adding 2 Nigerian players plus 4-5 Indo Europeans on the senior team pool and 4 Indo Europeans in the U-23 pool and they just did it by presidential decree instead of going through the normal processes. That means that they will have 3 naturalized players with no blood ties to any Indo while we have none.
you can also tell him that we follow the principle of jus sanguinis or right of blood, used by a lot of countries in Europe, Asia etc. incl. countries like Iran, etc. which means it is your parents that determine your citizenship not your place of birth. In the Indonesian system they follow jus soli, right of the soil, in which place of birth takes precedence. Both are used worldwide.
